To answer your questions yes! I do a lot of these myself and I enjoy it more because I don't have to wait for friends to be available or end up eating food at a restaurant that is ok just because my friend likes it and we are splitting food coz the portions are big. I don't feel lonely, when I do I go out and attend events in my area. As for the gym yeah its a good idea to meet people, I would consider that for you. Or even having a gym at home you could call friends to work out with you :)
Or, you could join networking events and get to do some interesting things and meet new people in the process?
Hi there. Play smart meet in a public place like a mall. dont meet him late either morning or afternoon or early evening. Give a friend or trusted one his pic, mobile number etc to be safe. Let your trusted person know where you are going. Don't worry about impressing him it should be the other way around lol. Just be on time, wear a nice casual outfit, meet him for coffee that way if you dont like him you dont get stuck for dinner
Just be honest about what you are looking for so you don't waste time, in fact ask him this when you meet him, so he doesn't ask you first and copy your answer.
Be interested in what he talks about, ask him about his hobbies, family etc.
Mercedes is right don't spend time with him alone in a hotel or anything ok definitely not days! and don't get in his car either.

I wear lipstick to work and if I'm going to a party then I would bother with eye makeup. Otherwise I like to keep it simple. I wear make up for myself and to enhance my features.
Yes you are correct taking it off is a pain. For eyeshadow I use cotton pads dipped in eye makeup remover it does the job well. Try Nivea double effect eye make up remover its gentle and works well.
Hi Lindsyjones, yes I am there when my friends need me, and have found that some have been there for me too. I walk away from one sided friendships I don't like selfish people. I have a high school friend who lives in the US now and we message every now and then, I have another good friend I have known since my early twenties we met online and in person and we keep in touch and meet when we can. He flew down to attend my sibling's funeral which meant a lot to me. I have two former colleagues who are now good friends, one moved back here and the other one has moved to Canada. I am in still in touch with her, but with skype and other video and voice calls being blocked its hard to catch up so we usually text or I call her once in a while. She is my best friend and gave me a job when I needed one, she introduced me to prospective employers also, she even offered her home to stay with her and her family when I lost my sibling.Another friend did the same also. I had surgery about two months ago and a friend I met at an event last year who I hang out with every month visited me and offered to stay in the hospital. She always helps with anything and I would do the same for her. She is a close friend now. I have friends that have gone out of their way to help even when they had limited resources. I consider those friends like family. I always have friends telling me I am a good friend and I think I am. I think its good to support one another through good times and bad. If I am friends with someone and they need my support or help I would hope they would do the same for me. I have a few close friends and I have a few friends that I met over a few months that I am getting to know. I don't mind just having friends to hang out with but at the end of the day when I just want someone that gets me without even having to explain anything, I call my closest friends. They know me well. They also tell me when I'm making a mistake or don't agree on something, so it works coz we are all blunt with each other. I have had friends come and go but am glad I can count on my close friends. When a few friendships went sour because of betrayal etc by the other person I just said what I needed to and walked away. They always came back apologizing and I accepted, but I did not give another go at the friendship when they requested it, because sometimes certain actions by the other person is too hurtful and the trust is gone. I did wish them well. I prefer to have a couple of close friends than hundreds of friends for the heck of it. Quality over quantity. I would say people like us are blessed to have good friends.
I just want to add Johnny, never say never I know of a couple of people who met in clubs/bars and all are now married including a few friends of mine. They weren't even looking just went for a drink with friends....not all women who go to bars/clubs drink like a fish :) I don't drink at all and the women I talked about who got married they drink very little also they only go for the music. Just go out to places you enjoy don't go with the expectation of finding someone as such coz when you stop looking is when you will find her! Be patient and don't give up!
You're very nice to keep the young gf company. Well as for what she does for money, its her choice. If she wants to be with an older man for money that's on her. She must be pretty desperate. I don't agree with that kind of arrangement but hey they are consenting adults. I think he brought her along to show off I could be wrong.The party sounds like something out of a Jerry Springer show....
Can't I have someone my age? or max 43? I keep getting young guys after me and even at events they ask for my number! argh! I am fed up! Young guys are not looking for anything serious!
Guys in my country only want to chat through whatsapp. Welcome to the club :) In short I think they are lazy, they even ask me out through whatsapp! I am fed up of the guys here!

You are correct lovinglife. I woke up with rashes today as I think I'm allergic to cheese on the plus side I found my favorite ice cream which all the shops near me no longer stock. (I'm quite determined once I set my sight on something) Have a lovely day!
I am blessed to have true friends. They have proven themselves to me and vice versa and I know I can rely on them for support, unfiltered feedback, anything. The ones that turned out to not be true friends well I walked away from them, because quite frankly I would prefer to be surrounded by people I trust and love and have my back unconditionally.
I have encountered bag checkers only when the machine goes off when I enter and exit I think its because of my keys anyway I don't have a problem having my bag or receipt checked, back home all stores ask for receipts while leaving the store.Pain tbh but I guess shoplifting is a problem for these stores.
