RE: He created in his own image.

Having free will is to be able to act according to ones own nature. Obviously that does not mean to act randomly, so there is no conflict at all with a static universe that includes time as merely a dimension. Free will is in some sense an illusion, but that's in the same sense that centrifugal force is an illusion--the source of gravity on a space staion, remember.

RE: How does it feel...?

Do you get to delete blogs if you don't like them any more? I couldn't find that switch during my short experiment with a forum.

RE: I am not giving out my phone number or email and the reason is;

There may be no really safe email anymore. If you give the one your server provides, you tell them who your server is. If you get a temp Gmail, Google demands a cellphone number; and they're programming ability to protect your privacy is questionable--not that they care.

RE: Where does luck come from...?

Don't worry, Pedro, time is more than one dimension (you will not I said nothing about parallel time LINES). As with some interpretations of the Uncertainty Principle, in one of the resulting time-space coordinates you have already gotten the answer you wanted. Doubtless in most of them you'll never get it.

RE: You're Fighting for your life and neighbors are simply watching and listening...

Your neighbors should have called the police. Most people can manage that. Maybe even poke their heads out and say they'd called the police while taking a pic.
I would probably make the mistake of coming out with one of my pistols and rescue someone who didn't need to be rescued like Gen. Patton did once. :-)

RE: Private number

Barry, I think you missed something. I'm pretty sure the surveys and political caller who are exempt from Do-Not-Call use those lists for picking whom to call. No reason the illegal ones shouldn't.

RE: Peter Fonda dead at 79...

Too bad Hanoi Jane is still alive.

RE: Online dating from a male perspective

I guess I'm behind times. I though online dating meant you arranged the date online. I don't consider anything electronic a date, not even Skype or Google Hangouts (though those would be necessary before meeting). Making acquaintances on here is all well and good, but calling it dating--really?

RE: Hollywood Film Depicts Trump Supporters Being Hunted for Sport by Liberals

During WWII our Media were told to support our ally, the Soviets. It's an order they seem to have liked and can't get out of their system. People tend to forget they are mercenaries and propaganda is their profession.

RE: What Rubbish !!!!

The dictatorship of the majority is the worst kind.

RE: "I'm an Independent"

I have never voted Democrat and never will, which is more than can be said for many members of the Religious "Right" that had taken over the Republican Party. I still have hopes that Trump will shake them loose.

RE: Earth

I don't know why no one has said this yet but the circumference of the Earth is not measured it is calculated. Further, it is different along the equator as opposed to along a line of longitude, etc. (due to its rotation the Earth bulges at the equator).

RE: 4,738th Time’s The Charm? Democrats Sure Hope So!

Misconduct of the Media is nothing new since Vietnam.
Large scale government misconduct is new. Sounds like a Communist regime.

RE: Body Of Frozen Stowaway On Airplane Falls 3,500 Feet And Almost Lands On Sunbather

There is room. Not many fall out when the gear goes down--they're usually found by ground crew still in there. On shorter flights that do not go up above 20,000 some have even made it, I think.
While it's 40 degrees F colder at 20,000 than ground level, it's doable though not a brilliant idea. WWI pilots flew half-hour missions at 20,000 without oxygen masks.

RE: Drop a dime...

I wonder if any highways still have "emergency phones" a.k.a. "police phones." Don't do much interstate or international driving any more.

For those of us who don't have a cellphone grafted on, it is possible to forget them. And even for those who always have them, cellphones do break.

RE: Speed bumps...

They do belong in corner parking lots where some people try to take quick shortcuts through long traffic lights. Not much other legitimate use.

RE: Should 16 year old's be allowed to vote?

I think the voting age should be 21, like it used to be in many State. Why should someone be allowed to vote before he's old enough to drink?

RE: Computer users - 15 Amazing Shortcuts You May Not Be Using

I disabled the Windows key. It's a landmine like most Microsoft upgrades.

RE: Is it being old fashion or simple courtesy and respect?

Most store and restaurants in the States have two front doors about ten feet apart due to air conditioning/heating these days. To open the door for a lady in the old sense you'd have to be twins. If you open the first and hold it, you'll never get to the second one first.

RE: Gender Identification - What does that even mean?

Len05, you started off right. Not accepting your own body isn't just weird, it's maladaptive. Maladaptive behavior is not sane and should be treated not condoned; but, of course, the psychologists are still as off the beam as Freud was.

RE: Why are male doctors so arrogant?

Emily, there is no use debating doctors. They are too dedicated to the education they obtained with more than a little hard work. They are too likely to think any questioning of the medical group-think is a criticism of their knowledge thereof. Just change doctors. (P.S.: Dentists are worse.)
