Why are male doctors so arrogant?

So I am on the downtime of night shift now and one thing just keeps going on my mind since yesterday's doctor's visit, that almost all male doctors are always so arrogant from my experiences both in this country and in my country. It makes me believe that this is a universal sign for male doctors to think that they are a kickass genius or something, yet they can't solve your problems 99% of the time! But I have not seen any female doctors with this attitude...

He always listens to me and takes me seriously.
He is very unassuming.

I've a difficult doctor. She's always telling me there's absolutely no reason for me to immediately remove my clothes every time I walk into her office. Pfft, doctors.

Are y'all sure you were not seeing an alien doctor?

Cause I've only had one male doctor with the best bedside manner who truly cares for his patients. Maybe I'm too much of a debater with doctors.

Emily, there is no use debating doctors. They are too dedicated to the education they obtained with more than a little hard work. They are too likely to think any questioning of the medical group-think is a criticism of their knowledge thereof. Just change doctors. (P.S.: Dentists are worse.)

Emily ~ My G.P. is fine but I find the young Surgeons on the 'Triage' who are learning from the more experienced top Surgeon , tend to be stand offish and talk down to one, I think experience and age, brings humility, My Surgeon is a tremendous guy [does transplants] and yet, is so humble and funny.
