RE: France and UFO...

Good for France! We need all the info we can get.

My personal opinion is that our climate, chemical makeup and terra firma is probably harmful to any alien life. I also think if we ever made it to a "Goldilocks" planet in the cosmos it would have to be completely terraformed to suit our biology.

RE: The Metaverse

I agree that it will happen one day. But that day is far in the future. We will be able to download our brains into a metaverse and live through pure thought. Maybe 1000 years from now it could happen.

I know people live in a VR world now but they still have to live in the real world with their "meatsuit" on. Far from what a true metaverse will be.

RE: Trying To Quit...

My niece decided to start smoking when she was 12. Then she started smoking pot when she was 14. Drinking came next along with some painkillers. Oxycodone when she was in her 20's. Heroin came next and then she quit smoking, pot, pills drink and heroin.

She quit for 19 months. One day she decided to use again...heroin. It was laced with fentanyl, but how could she tell? Her life took a downturn, thus the regression. One use, one more shot. She was dead within minutes at the age of 29.

I wish she started smoking again...

RE: Me in my bathroom. You're welcome.

I've seen two of your videos now. They are very well done. I agree with Jac your choice in music fits and the OCD movement with the aftershave is something I would do, and I think most people do.

Again I agree with Jac, that your videos are hypnotic. Keep making them and I'll keep watching.thumbs up

RE: Dementia, The Early signs

You are 100% right about sugar. It is the most detrimental food substance we ingest. I took care of my dad who had brain cancer and my mom who had dementia. Your advice about "changing it up" is very good. I got my dad to do crossword puzzles and took both parents out to have different experiences in restaurants, shops or just driving around.

My dad passed away in 2015 and my mom last year of heart failure. The one piece of advice I would suggest is try to be as patient as possible, even though you are at your wits end. Patience was the key to getting through really tough times. I'll pray for your parents.

RE: Personal & Societal Irresponsibility has consequences, which should include financial responsibility

In July Biden said you don't need to wear a mask indoors if you were vaxxed.

I am very angry about what happened. People or governments should never make proclamations when they don't know all the facts. This misinformation probably cost lives. It's no wonder more have died this year than last when there was no vaccine. Misinformation coming from someone on a social media platform is far less dangerous than a government employee or agency making claims when they are clueless to the facts and science.

RE: Personal & Societal Irresponsibility has consequences, which should include financial responsibility

So my government tells me in April that the vaccine will prevent me from getting covid and I don't need to wear a mask anymore then I get covid in September it's my fault. What science did the government follow in April? Or did they make it up as they went along, which is the truth. I did what the Chronicle said yet I'm to blame for getting covid. The article is convoluted in it's logic. Thanks for making my point.

RE: Personal & Societal Irresponsibility has consequences, which should include financial responsibility

Jim...I am not bitter about surviving covid. How do you know that I am alive because I was vaxxed? There are no studies to suggest that. There can't be because no long term studies have been done. My whole point was who should take responsibility for my contracting covid after I took the vaccine? The article in the Chronicle said non vaxxed people need to take responsibility if they get covid. Conversely, who should take responsibility for my situation? I was not warned about potential breakthrough cases. Did the US gov't lie? Are they responsible? Pfizer? I am pointing out the rediculous notion the context of the article conveys. I am not anti vaccine obviously since I took it.
