1) T was not in it for the power, nor the money. Fame and admiration maybe, as any career oriented person would, but mostly to serve the people of the USA who like him were fed up with politicians promising to later "forget". The job he did exceeded what anybody could expect, a wonderful job for America was what he managed.
2) You can forget about that so called justice of yours regarding Trump. He will go clear a 100%. I'm more worried about the ones you call the insurgents, who on reality was a mix of blm/antifa in disguise placed there to fool in the most eager quanons that took the bait. First mentioned group go clear naturally (shoved out the backdoor) but the quanons will face harsh sentences I'm afraid. How harsh? As bad as it can get without provoking a real riot.

I'm less worried than you about the Russian Bear. I also can not think of a much better leader than V.Putin as of today for that nation. The next one will be different, but to the better or worse from a western perspective, is hard to say. I know he/she will not be as respected in Russia as the previous leader.

If somebody tried to seize power by force that day (what a silly thought) they must have been pretty low iq'ed and badly organised. Trump knows way better, that goes without saying.
@Jac. I wonder if the stupid defenses one see these days on the subject is designed to try ease a too harsh sentencing. You know, as a self defense strategy for court use only. Only reason I can see. I don't even know how the cases are standing as of today, can't be bothered to follow all the drama. I know most is "for show", read political reasons.
