That's all just Bluff and Bluster. He can't change the Constitution single handed. He needs a lot of cooperation from government (2/3 majority in both houses) to make changes to the Constitution. No, there are a lot of people (MAGA people) who love Trump’s fighting talk, that's all it is.
The Left have had their day oz and they went astray, but who can blame those folk who are trying to turn America into a Progressive, Liberal, Far Left, Social Democratic Country in order to push their preferred lifestyle.
But it's time to get back to reality. It's time to get back to making America a great Republic again, which is how it was founded and is how the Constitution was designed. It is also a Capitalist country. It was founded on Capitalism, not Socialism or Democracy. The land of opportunity. That last sentence is lacking one word though, Equal. The reason for that is because the Constitution was designed to exclude it. Ok that wasn't a great idea to begin with but the amendments have tried to address issues like that. So what we have is a Republic with equal rights and opportunities for all, notwithstanding 'for the greater good'.
Have I left anything out?
Oh yes, unfortunately the People don’t get to elect the President or most Members of Parliament and Judges. They only get to select the Presidential candidate. That little piece of Democracy should be ammended into the Constitution, in my opinion. Then America would have a pretty good workshop manual.
quote "That's just one example of what Trump did fraudulently. Judge Engoron's summary judgement was based on the maths (Mar-a-Largo valued at $18M in one set of official documents and $1B+ in another, for example.) Letitia James put so much documentary evidence in front of him, he was able to say there was widespread fraud within the Trump Organisation over a 10-15 year period."
This is where the whole problem originates. They have singled out Trump and are going after him. I already explained that he has done nothing that is not part of shrewd business practices and potential market opportunities.
In the interest of equality they now need to investigate every other developer in the USA.
Looking at two sets of figures tells you that they are different, nothing more.
You cannot invent your own conclusions, which indicates either childish behaviour or nefarious intent on the part of the prosecution and the court officials.
Then we have the bloodthirsty masses cheering on the crucifixion.
If they admitted that the Bond was too high then by default the fine was too high, they go hand in hand. The 8th is in the Bill of Rights, and an amendment to the Constitution. It provides protection from the Courts to the Citizens of the USA. The Constitution was well thought out and well written, it should be abided by, for everyone.
The video man said irrigation is excluded yet watering the lawn is irrigation which he said is included.
But the funny part is that water used in irrigation goes straight back into the ground. Maybe the plants use some and some evaporates but most goes back. You should get a credit off your meter for that.
I mentioned before that politicians might use their power to introduce new laws for nefarious reasons.
Take Brad Hoylman-Sigal, powerful NY Senator.
Check him out, the following is a synopsis from Wikipedia. Read about his Self Interest and Agenda driven legislation.
Brad Hoylman-Sigal is an American Democratic politician. First elected in 2012, Hoylman-Sigal represents the 47th District in the New York State Senate, covering much of the west side of Manhattan in New York City. He is chairman of the state senate Judiciary Committee.
Hoylman-Sigal was the only openly gay member of the New York State Senate.
After the 2018 midterm elections, Hoylman-Sigal was appointed Chair of the Senate Judiciary Committee. With a Democratic majority, Hoylman-Sigal passed multiple pieces of legislation including the Gender Expression Non-Discrimination Act (or GENDA), and a ban on so-called 'gay conversion therapy.' Personal to him.
Hoylman-Sigal also sponsored the TRUST Act, which was passed by the state Senate.
The bill would allow certain Congressional committees to perform oversight by reviewing the New York State tax returns of senior government officials.
Members of Congress suggested this could allow Congressional committees to review Donald Trump's tax returns.
City & State, a New York-based political news organization, characterized Hoylman-Sigal as "the person behind state Senate’s progressive bills."
In early 2021, Governor Andrew Cuomo signed a bill, sponsored by Hoylman-Sigal, to repeal New York's ban on Paid Gestational Surrogacy. This was personal for him.
In June 2021, the New York Senate passed the Adult Survivors Act (ASA), which was sponsored by Hoylman-Sigal and Assembly member Linda Rosenthal. The legislation was enacted: It unanimously passed the Senate in April 2022 and was signed into law by Governor Kathy Hochul.
The bill established a one-year "lookback period" that allowed adult victims of sex abuse or sex crimes to bring civil lawsuits that were previously barred due to the statute of limitations.
The following week E. G. Carroll filed for damages under this Act.
The DOJ declined to pursue this case so Brad Hoylman-Sigal got to work on ASA.
Under the statute of Limitations legislation and tied to the Constitution, new legislation may not be introduced which would put at peril the rights of someone after the time limit for entering a prosecution has passed.
I thought Trump was going to go this route on the 'ASA case" which would have seen the outcome of that case and the following one reversed. But apparently not.
Apartments can be revalued numerous times throughout the design and construction stages. There are many reasons for this. That is a fact. None of these people have sufficient knowledge of the construction industry to be qualified to make judgements on projected values versus agreed sales prices. Neither do they have any idea how business negotiations work. I'm reluctant to comment on this whole sham because from what I have read there's not much out of the ordinary from the way business is usually done. The bank used their own valuation which was the amount they loaned to Trump. I worked in senior management positions for builders and developers. You need to be on your game all the time, minnows get devoured. It is like playing poker with other peoples money. Sometimes after negotiations have stalled there might be a gap of half a million on a contract worth 30 to 50 million. Sometimes we would split it, once we tossed a coin for it and I won. That was twenty years ago, it might be double that now. The real criminality is in the judicial system. How many new laws are introduced for nefarious reasons. Anybody who blindly accepts that all laws are genuinely lawful is truly naive.
Here's why Marxism and Communism will not be a problem in America.
It starts from the bottom. Imagine a tree that tops itself, cuts off the part above ground and hopes to start new growth from the roots.
Call the roots the manual working class. They get rid of all the classes above them and attempt to run everything themselves socially and communally.
This class is normally the far left, socialist leaning class of people. But in America this class of people is far right, Republican (MAGA people) and these people hate Marx and his Marxist ideology.
So how do you see that working?
More likely the 3rd Red Scare will come from the Red Party.
Would you call it Anarchism or Trumpism or Trump Anarchism?
Russia is not giving up and will match whatever Ukraine throws at it with or without help from the west. The goal was to take the Donbas region just like in Georgia and they're not leaving without it. Ukraine will not be able to join NATO while there are unresolved external territorial disputes. Taxpaying citizens are paying to extend the war instead of financing services at home, it's money wasted unless there is a win but as I said Russia will counter any increase in Ukraine's effort. The sooner everybody faces this reality the better. It's not just Putin either, Medvedev will be just as bad if not worse, so an early settlement could be crucial.
It's a good blog, on a topic worthy of discussion and debate, but that’s not the OP's intention sadly. I will say one thing for reflection. It is difficult to make an accurate prediction or prophecy but it is not difficult to make a prophecy come true.
I wouldn't depend on the battery. They're really only for testing purposes. If you leave the cables attached it draws power and will go dead overnight.
The Supreme Court on Monday issued its highly anticipated decision siding with former President Donald Trump in a challenge to his eligibility for a second term in office, reversing a ruling from the top court in Colorado that ordered him to be excluded from the state's 2024 Republican presidential primary ballot.
You were asking about compression. I put a bit of time into getting the sound right. After a lot of adjustment to strings and pickup settings I found that, to take one example, the high E string was quiter than the B string so I got a Boost and Compressor which was recommended, but that didn't work to my satisfaction so I got a Boss EQ GE7. After a lot of fiddling I got it right, every string is now playing with equal volume. I still like to use all four pedals because of the overall sound, sustain and gain. You also asked about other effects. I experimented with every available effect but don't use them.
Half the world weeps for Navalny while the other half shakes Putin's hand. These are hard truths. I feel sorry that Navalny chose to martyr himself, to what end? Ok may be another nail in Putin's coffin, so what? He should have stayed out of Russia and organised the Opposition, like Lenin did. The lesson he didn't learn is to pay attention to set precedents. Hopefully Navalnaya or whoever it is will have the foresight to do the right thing. You can grieve or you can inspire people to do something effective. Putin doesn't understand emotion, he understands real threat to his domain. Remember Prigozhin. He started something but even he backed down, that took something big, like Putin taking his family hostage. Who knows. This is not for the weak or fainthearted.
RE: How can anyone vote for Trump, when even his staff won’t support him.
Yea, not good.
