The picture is so representational of long distance love and longings, only enabled from the internet and computers. But though it's sad in some ways, at least people who aren't able to travel to far distances, can at least have a nice online pen friend type relationship, which is mostly what social media is... Is it art or just sadness?
You look lovely with any kind of hair and your artwork is brilliant!
I need to get back into my pencil drawings (blue jay etc.) before they disappear from the earth entirely!
(Just between you, me and the other nosey people - I'm soon to be spending a week with my gorgeous Canadian visitor whom I met on here in January, I can't wait!!! And I know distance is no barrier as long as the feelings are strong... )
I suppose we can only deal with our lives' events the best way we can. Not having a good start in life doesn't mean the end! As long as we have life then we can do our best to overcome all the past negativity and try and make our way in the world.
I wouldn't bother fighting for anything - just moving on from the negative is enough!
I agree Orzzz. It's getting way over the top - all the obsession with ceremony and media coverage. They are a family just like any other that need to be left alone to grieve naturally. The peasants drifting through looking at the coffin just seems wrong and morbid to me... The family and the public all need to give some space.
And also stop assuming that everyone loved her and her death is the only news item in the world.
Funny that. Today i went for a long walk (around 4miles) to clear my head from all the Queen's death stuff... Then ended up in a pub talking to a black man, working here, from Zimbabwe... No disrespect but I was only after a peaceful drink on my own but I stole his seat when he left it empty! Then he wanted to buy me another drink and was getting keen, so as he went to the toilet - I ran away for self preservation purposes!!!!
I had an Irish boss once for an office job in the past, and it was all 'can you not do this' or 'can you not do that'... We got used to it but he didn't understand that it would be a lot easier to just say 'can you do this' etc etc.!
It's just the way people talk that doesn't always make sense!
We won't see the likes of her again... It's so sad but not unexpected. What a perfect woman and what a perfect reign... She'll live forever in our hearts and our history...
Oh yeah, I got talking to The Pope the other day whilst walking down the high street... He agreed to pay my gas and electric bills for the foreseeable future, but drew the line at the drunken night pizza!
