Anyone one I share this story with...is faced with a choice to decide if I have lied to them or not. That choice will become there reality, unless I counter it with proof.
In the absence of proof, they build their own reality,
but I have a choice when and who to share the story with.
Given that I belive many will not believe the story,
and given my ability to choose wether or not too share it,
am I also in some way contributing to creating a false reality for them?
This is not a request for suggestions to alleviate her boredom. She is mad at you and this is an attempt at retribution. She wants you to waste the next several hours with futile attempts to entertain her. This is best countered with a "THAT'S NICE". She will of course assume that you weren't really listening to her as usual. She will be angry but she was already angry and you just escaped wasting several hours of your life. There is no sense in you both being angry.
Very true, however the low degree of challenge in kicking puppies would yeild sub-par gains in self esteem. I would probably recommend they graduate to kicking alligators or elephants.
Exactly...take puppy kickers. Puppy kickers are no good, it serves no purpose for them to beleive they are good. It's best for them to accept that being a puppy kicker is no way to go through life. Once they accept that fact they are free to begin learning not to kick anymore puppies.
In all honesty, and hopefully relevance...yes to both. One common thread among the situations that where the most enjoyable, the women were inclined to be clear about what they were seeking. The worst problems came from missunderstandings or missdirection as to what was being sought.
One of my ex-step sons used to sleep walk and talk quite frequently. It got to the point that I could predict which nights it would happen, and it was clearly stress related. If nothing had happened at home I knew to start asking questions about school.
Lucky...
