I get two weeks vacation, five days for holidays like christmas etc... and five personal days and five paid sick. And it still does not seem like enough.

I have checked it out and have found that to be so. It is a shame that we work like we do. It does not leave any quality time for home.

Forty is the norm here. But some places you work it ends up being fifty. Anything over forty hours I do get paid time and a half for so it is at least financially worth it. They started hiring where I work at about three weeks ago if not when we go into season it will be even more hours. But by the time season is done we will not have as many workers. I do not know where they go.

We have one of the highest unemployment rates here in the us and we have jobs no one seems to want and some are good paying desk jobs I have a place to work my fifty hours a week at and yet I have been offered two different jobs at doctors offices. What is wrong with this picture???

Exactly what do you see as straw man? That I do not agree we should be inhumane? That there is stereo typing and I dare to say it? Because I see people as individuals? That I do not pull web links from unreliable sources and copy and paste them on a continuous basis? That I prefer to get my news from reliable resources? That I speak more than one language? That I am not to lazy to press a number on the phone and make a language choice? Or is it that I don't agree with you?

It is sad to read. The stereo typing is what leads me to believe that some are just really not that knowledgeable on the subject. I was raised by a big redneck daddy <----fit description of most red necks But he raised me to believe there is good and bad in all cultures and to not judge a person from the outside look into their insides. Sadly a lot of things he said would come out really raciest. He had very little education but I knew what laid in his heart. So did many others. Morning to you

As far as I know illegals cannot vote. When I did the voters registration I had to do it without promoting who I would like to see in office. Many were not registered due to long work hours. So I showed them how they could do early voting and not have to miss work. No one I know wants criminals to be in the United States. I wish we could send ours somewhere else
