I think you and HL are looking in the right direction. I do not eat alot of potatoes or corn. I like veggies But I prefer lettuce, tomatoes, cucumbers, greens (turnip, mustard, collards) cabbage, spinach .... I guess you can tell I am a real foodie....I love to eat
Just takes a few extra legs to make a plate. Actually I have seen some really big frogs. I am gone to clean if I see any frogs whilst hanging my clothes should I send them your way
I know a man who talks through a machine and has a hole in his throat that still smokes so yes I agree I think it is how much one finds the importance of it. If it had been my computer I would of said when you pry it out of my dead hands. It is like a large purse to me. My recipes my comunication needs most are done by computer but some can do without them with ease. I have never owned a dish washer either. I see though what you are saying. So yes I think it depends on the person and the device and with you it is the micro wave.
Hi Monte if I knew for sure I might would. Most likely would. But I cannot help but to think of all the other cancer scares we have had in my short time. First something is bad for you and then it is good for you. But I do not smoke and I watch my food in take all from the health perspective so I am unsure. I really do not use my microwave often. It is a standing joke in my area. I sill own and use the first microwave I ever owned. Got it eighteen years ago. Still works good Don't think I would replace it if it went. But my daughter did not think so either so she got me another one. It sits in my closet waiting to be called for duty.
It will most likely be on my tomb stone died from terminal good health
I use to think it was everyone's place to help others in need. There is hunger all over the world. For different reasons. Be it through education, gifts of food or what ever it took. When Haiti had the earth quake I sat with other family members and we packaged antibiotics to be sent over to help them. Till our fingers hurt. I did it because I was able to. I was not paid to do it. I felt it was what one did for another human in need. And actually now after being on this site a while. I am more apt to wonder if anything can be done just because it is the right thing to do without others trying to turn it into a political circus. I was told by a younger person in my area that my ways are out dated and no longer how things are done. Maybe they are right. If someone needs help maybe the turning of a blind eye will be what becomes the norm. Sad is it not. And actually as humans we all can thank ourselves.
Supper is a word in my area that means dinner. And I am cooking but am hungry now. So I thought food
On your question I could only give you my opinion. Not facts. I still wish this had really been supper.
Oh by the way were you not the one who wanted to know how the big machinery was going to be moved. Not easily but I think they got it under control from what I heard on my news this morning. Is that not what all the belly aching has been about your country wanted us gone? You cannot have it both ways
1 day ago ... Online daters may have more to worry about than picking out a good profile picture on eHarmony these days — users of the website found out ...
OMG it has come to this....I think you have something there Ray....That is just how I have been thinking.... I really have know idea who I am inclined to vote for this year. And to be honest I think many of the women over here now have become all ears and will be waiting to see who gets our vote. I know that is how it seems in my area. You do have what I call the blind voters. They vote their party no matter what. Charles Manson could be running and if he was their partys person he would get their vote. Not me I try to wait and pick the lesser of the two evils.
You are funny When things are going good then that country most likely does. Not so good then I imagine not. Do you know Mr Thirst there was a time in my life to see something in my home from another country was unusual. I admit we did not have all the choices of types of salad dressing and stuff we have now a days. But we got by. We only had fruits that were grown locally so there were strange foods I had never tasted till I got older. I really don't appreciate the impact the american economy has had on my country but I do so like my favorite pair of jeans that are from India and my beautiful dishes from England...And I have paid for these items so I have added to the economy of anothers country and to be honest most the times I am appreciative of good work from what ever country it is from. I have am like most people though when I spend my hard earned money on something and it is not good I am not happy I am trying to say is there was a time when stuff from other countries was not abundant...even though times are difficult now for alot of people how do we really narrow it down to whom and what country. We I guess could stop trading with one another and shut our borders back up. But to be appreciative no I don't think anything has been done for nothing. Appreciating should be saved for the great things in life. Like a beautiful piece of art. A gorgeous flower. The moment you look at a man (or woman) and you know he is the one so you count your lucky stars....Funny when I think about it the thing I appreciate the most don't have nothing to do with money it is the breath I breathe my family and friends and an opportunity to try one more day to be a good person. So ok I will show some appeciation for the lesser things I have that I really don't need. Thank you China for the great pair of sneakers I have, but please keep your dry wall it isn't so good Thank you Africa you have given me some gorgeous gems to admire...Thank you Pakistan you have given me nice jeans too. Just not my favorite pair like India. I can go on and on and on but I want if this is survivor island on the tele I am sure I would of been voted off this site by now. But thank you Mr Thirst you made me realize there are many countries out there I appreciate
Your funny If someone is around testing me I would say they are the one who are players. Love and relationships are not games to be tested or played. It is a chance one takes when they enter into a relationship. That sadly I think is why many are fearful of entering into a relationship. Once you find that the person is unsuitable (player, ax murderer, jerk, etc...) bow out quickly and as gracefully as possiable. Check yourself for scars and then kiss the ground you walk on you just dodged a bullet. There are alot of nutters running around out there. But even the nutters find a shell to live in. This is why dating is so important it gives you a chance to find out what type of person you are seeing. No games. If there are you should be able to see in the dating process. It is when one thinks the other person is going to change the trouble happens. Then really who is the player I remember the first time I fell off a horse. It hurt like the dickens but I wanted to ride so I got back on. Try not to over think things. Remember you have just one life to live. Do not waste on things or people who are emotional, physical or spiritual vampires. Best luck to you
All that is necessary for evil to prevail is for good men to do nothing.
We will have to repent in this generation not merely for the hateful words and actions of the bad people but for the appalling silence of the good people.
Dream as if you'll live forever, live as if you'll die today.
Love does not consist in gazing at each other but in looking together in the same direction.
Thank you. I look at it this way. To of even had a love like ours a little while is still much longer than some ever have. I am the lucky one. You are so right about money. There are somethings it just cannot buy. And it happens that those things are some of the most valuable and precious things in life
Ya know Ro I have lived here my whole life. My husband also grew up here. Long before we were a tourist destination. We all use to work in the orange and grapefruit industry. Then they put a condo building up on our beach. It is true in that movie when they say if you build they will come Soon we turned into a spot for the wealthy to vacation. Gone were our days of lazying around in the sun and playing in the fields. They kept building. Visiting was not enough. The wealthy wanted to own their own homes here. Where they could come and stay during the winter months. So our fields and groves became fewer and fewer. We still have little crime rate here. But it did increase greatly with the growth. It was sad to witness this. I don't resent the people for being here but I mourn for what once was. I suggested after my husband got laid off we take our money and go to Louisanna. Katrina had just went through and wreaked her havoc. We could start a business and grow with her. He had hope that his beloved Vero would not let him down and did not want to leave. I did not push it. I knew I have always been business smart that we were in for a rough ride. But hey we were going to ride it together. So I said no more. Such a little thing I thought at that time to let him have his way about. It was much bigger than I ever imagined. I am so glad we did not move and that he got to spend his last days where he was happy. Sometimes those tropical paradises is not where one intends to be. They seem to grow up around them
