RE: Assertive Men

In todays ever changing times the assertive male is dwindling rapidly to the way of the dinosaurs. It has to be difficult with economic changes, and the new found power women who are escalating up the career ladders to be a man and feel assertive. Women have become not just their equals but many have turned into the bread winners reversing the roles of husband and wife. There are still men out there that fit what you are looking for. Many do not want the responsibility anymore of being that assertive male. Can't say I blame them. To carry their weight and someone elses must be a heavy burden. I was told by a very wise woman one time to not lean on someone in life. They might fall from the weight. Good luck to you on your search.

I must admit I have mixed feelings on this. Two of my best friends are gay. They are not a couple they have other partners. I do believe they deserve the same rights as others. Without having to jump legal hurdles that they would not have to jump if they were married. I do not believe in organized religion. I think my mixed feelings come from growing up in a time where this was not even talked about. But even with mixed feelings I know I have no problem with this. And am unsure how you figure the state and church are not being kept separate? The church does not agree with a lot of things. So? You know what I have noticed that I think is quite funny people who I have never seen practicing their religion is all of a sudden crying about their religious rights. Where are my rights? Where are the rights of those who are agnostics? My question is ......is religion trying to mix state and religion?

You need to put them on photobucket or another site similar to that. I use photobucket. Then it is fairly easy.

I have been thru that thiefs came and gutted the home of almost everything. Wire in the walls. Scary woke me up. They were trying to dismantle the tin or aluminum roof at four in the morning. Then when they were done....the homeless came and moved in. Then the yard was so out of shape the wild animals came to roost Four years of this....then a couple of months ago came a big van....fixed it back up even better than before and I got real nice neighbors

The reason I asked is this is an international site and you had mentioned family. I know family is very important to my family. Me I am older now and have done what I am suppose to do and would move in a heart beat if the right one came along. But it seems most young girls like to stay near their family. My son moved to Cali to be with his girl. Now it is his home and they have a family.

There are good girls and women out there. You just have to keep looking for the one that is right for you.

Sounds like fun! I prefer fresh air but sometimes the humidity and heat is so bad I have to turn on the air or else things in the house go awry When I was younger no one had ac and stuff did not melt or go awry. Must be all the stuff they use to make everything new and improved doing it now a days You look so at peace in that pic!
