I think Australia has the most awesome beautiful birds. And I love your big big big lizards. Tho here in Florida in my area the south part they are starting to get humongous snakes and lizards. People get them as pets and find out they are quite a responsibility then set them free. They are not indigenous to our area so they threaten our native wild life ..... and some people also. So they have tightened the laws on owning those kind of pets now. I would say most likely to little to late. They are here and like our dad blasted love bugs they will multiply and cover larger and larger areas. Boy that was a finger full (instead of mouth full since I am typing)
Ali do you really think that you should be the one judging whom is better than whom? She married him knowing he was a draft dodger who would not even be back in this country if they had not given him amnesty which really don't say much about the people here where I live they voted him in for president. Making him the chief commander of the very services he decided to run from. I myself try and find role models and people to admire whom have attributes I admire so am I understanding this correctly these are people you would want to be like?
I feel lucky everyday I get up and find I am on this side of the ground. I was born in Lumberton it use to take me nine hours to drive home from here. I am in Vero Beach it is the southeastern part of the USA We have had some close to your area pop in from time to time. Oh and Also please read the scam warnings.
Nice story till I remembered the time my parents replaced my dead gold fish. I would of not known if my sister had not told me one day when she was mad at me Poor Rusty got flushed down the toilet
Yes I have met a few. I must say we seemed to have a bond already and I enjoyed meeting them. First time was a little scary. To me it is a big responsibility to have someone from another country come to visit. You want them to enjoy themselves and have good memories to take back with them.
Dang I posted this and did not mean to yet. I wanted to add picture where you would know what I was talking about

You know it was luck to even see your jumper again! So what happened to the jumper? Is it still in the tree? I will have to reread your post. I might of missed that part. We do always have such nice chats.
With that I will tell you a funny story about words meaning different things in different countries. The first time I heard the word jumper being used by someone from Australia was when I was meeting a young man and he said he was going to bring a jumper to wear. And I thought geez that should be a little awkward for me (I cleaned up what I thought for the sake of political correctness) in my area a jumper is a dress that a woman wears a shirt under.
Get the low down <--- heard in old Frank Sinatra movie. Gansters were getting the low down on what was going on, as in the story about what was happening
