Growing up we had no liquor stores was not sold in any of the stores or anywhere. Completely dry. I have not been back since the nineties and when I was there last they had started selling beer and wine at stores. Winn dixie, CVS, etc but still no bars or clubs. Thinking about going back for a visit next year. Still got family there. I spent winters here in Florida while growing up and this is what I actually consider my home. I went to school here. Still though guess I am a tarheel. I choose to make my own shine. It is smooth and use it for gifts to friends at holidays etc. I don't drink enough to make it just for me Legal to make here but illegal to sell

I am originally from North Carolina. Robinson County. And yeppers went to Georgia one time and wanted to buy beer on a Sunday had to drive out in to the middle of no where it was like a scene from Cops except instead of crack I was buying beer. Opened my trunk two men ran over threw the beer in my trunk and hauled butt. Hope Georgia has changed that Sunday bann on booze.

Wow my cable internet company just interrupted me when I was trying to post this with a fricken commercial. Never had that happen before. And yet they told me the other day they cannot understand why I am not happy with their service. Time to switch up.

I come from originally from what is known as a dry county and so prefer the modern shine to the days of yore. Watched that stuff actually in time eat thru a mason jar cap Kept me away from shine for years.

The artist chose to block this from our country. I am not familiar in detail for the reason some artist outside our country has chose to do this. It has to do with a financial thing as most things are anymore I believe

Why of course it be! I have been thinking maybe a mix fruit one. With a little apple juice to lighten the flavor.
Already had a bloody mary this morning so best stick maybe to some hot tea if you have it. Any flavor not fussy there. Getting up early tomorrow and going to see if I can find somewhere for breakfast and catch the colts game.
So gotta lay low this evening. I am not a morning person being I work mid shift. And don't want to scare people by looking wild eyed Early morning

You know this got me to thinking about Auroville. It should of been a paradise but now it has become riddled with crime and not what it was meant to be years ago. At least it is of my opinion that it is not what they had hoped.

I would miss the easy access to water I have now. I really like turning a handle and water magically appearing in my tub, cup, pot etc
When I was a little girl my grand parents did not have indoor plumbing for my first few years of life and I remember what it was like. Somethings I liked about it. How first thing in the morning I would go out side and prime the pump, I could actually smell the fresh water
The out house was on the other side of the back field. Riding the horse to get there not so much fun

Sadly like minded people do not stay that way. The human race changes their way of thinking quite rapidly anymore. They would only bring their problems with them. Different pasture same manure. I don't actually believe that a group of people can live together in harmony. There always will be boat rockers. JMO

Things will change when this starts happening. It happened where I live. We use to be a small farming community and then the wealthy americans started to buy up the land. Gone are the days where we proudly boasted of our excellent groves and hello to a bunch of buildings. We are still a small community but thru our winter months the tourist come and we turn into a very busy place. I like laid back and relaxed. But then maybe you think this is a good thing. I know some do

Something that keeps going thru my mind when reading this is I would rather have quality over quantity any day. But that is me. People have different needs and desires in life. Think of life as a pair of shoes. We might wear the same size shoes but what I might find comfortable might hurt anothers feet

Oh no not you. I was going to do some thing nice for some one and they are always grouchy and greet people meanly. So I decided why bother bringing the negativity my way. I will never understand the postal service I do know that one time I shipped a delicate Chrystal Chandler by barge to Hawaii and it actually made it there in one piece. Not one tear drop was damaged. So sometimes I guess I am just impatient.
