Since covid I have been having a blast finding ways to amuse myself. Last time I did a beautiful shade of blue. I also have been redoing my spare room in a hippie theme. Good thing I just went to the other thread and Bogart was in my bed. I am now gonna have to find a way to keep him there my dog thinks the whole bed is hers.

Nope not desperate. Been on here long before I could even smile. My husband had been passed for a year and a relative thought I should make a profile here. I hung out in poetry corner and blocked all my email. Back then you could block it

I said chemistry amongst the four choices. I am a firm believer in good communication. I am not a mind reader so in a relationship that is what I count on. I know usually when there is chemistry you have that feeling of being comfortable, as if the piece of the puzzle fits perfectly. So that I hope would lead to good communication.

As has already been posted it seems to have it times that it is really good to post on here. Tho I have not seen that in a while. And it has had its times when this has been a joy ride compared to some. I am unsure why you think the U.S. elections really have anything to do with it. Before the elections there was bickering and uncivility about other topics. You can just check out old threads to see that. It is a people problem. If you are unable to ignore and move on from posters that rub you the wrong way, or have topics you don't like etc. then the problem is you. Every response does not need a reply. If you find a thread on a topic you don't like do you continue reading it? Or close the thread and don't give it another thought? So the answer to your question is I really expect joy to return. I am unsure when or how long it will stay. I enjoy your music threads and hope you don't take this site so seriously you let things get under your skin. But it has been this way from the beginning. Because we are just mere humans acting like humans. It would just be odd if we all got a long all the time and liked everything about each other. How could one identify the good times if they never had a bad time.

No not by November 3rd of 2020. I continually watch covid morphing into something else. A vaccine could not protect you from the morphing. How it reacts symptom wise with the young very young and then how it reacts in the elderly. I do not think they really know what they are trying to make a vaccine for.

I have heard that myself. "If you point a finger at someone you have the remaining three pointing back at you. " Some people also have low communication skills and some people have very sensitive feelings, which makes an attack by others hard to identify. You have to question am I being overly sensitive or is this person really able to communicate in a constructive manner. Self esteem is a subject all of its own.
