@ John yes I could do that. laugh Alabama is not that far away ya know. It is peaceful and lovely here. I keep waiting for the big citys to one day just sprawl on over us and stop our way of life. Every year it seems they get closer and closer. Hope you have a wonderful Sunday teddybear

RE: George Zimmerman NOT Guilty!!!! Agree or Disagree?

Actually in my county most the crime here is done by people outside of our area uh oh I have lived here since before we were a tourist spot. when we became a tourist destination...gone were most our good jobs and then sadly most of the jobs here now are low paying jobs. Jobs geared towards making our guest comfortable. Kind of funny in a unfunny way....we were told they would make our county prosper....we thought we would make more money. Just more for politicians to waste. dunno

RE: Should the US pull out of the World Bank

I also want to add that if my tax dollars are being used to hold something up I want to make sure that the money is going where it is needed not to line the fat cat pockets dunno

RE: Should the US pull out of the World Bank

cswelcome

In my opinion tho the cause that it was created for is good it has gone astray and like many of the programs in the united states it needs to be looked at, closely, if need be dissolve it's partnership with the world bank. I also feel that even if we dissolve our partnership we should always help countries less fortunate than ourselves. A lot of our outreach programs here in the United States has turned into organized crime. As in robbery. The top ones feeding off the others. hmmm Our bankers' and our politicians seem to have a lot in common.

RE: George Zimmerman NOT Guilty!!!! Agree or Disagree?

The stand your ground law was not applicable in the Zimmerman case so it was not used as part of the defense.....as so many continue to whine about.....I provided the link to it earlier. So many want to make this case about things it is not about. You do not come to Florida by accident. We are the south east end of the United States. Surrounded by water on three sides. When you come you should be aware of the laws before coming. Ignorance of a law is no excuse. I choose not to live in places where the laws do not agree with my temperament. No offense to anyone it is just what I prefer. I don't plan on wearing no Burkas. You can wear them here if you like. Just not to get your drivers license. Driving is a privilege so it is up to you if you want that privilege it is not a right. The burka is just an example I don't care of people want to wear a cat on their head. But Florida is my home and has been since I was two weeks old. If you are citizen of Florida then you can go to the legislators and try and get the law changed. If you are not then you are entitled to your opinion. So here is where we are at on the stand your ground law.

RE: I Want To Meet A Rancher

It is disheartening. Just the ones who think it is all a game. I can see thru a player a mile away. And it seems that there are more of them out there than I ever thought. blues It saddens me too. What happened to the world while I was married? sad flower

RE: George Zimmerman NOT Guilty!!!! Agree or Disagree?

Cc.......you bad laugh

RE: George Zimmerman NOT Guilty!!!! Agree or Disagree?

See that is like the news. Pick what they want to show and leave the rest out. If you read the whole post and comprehended what you were reading then you would know I was implying that no one knows what really happened that night. roll eyes I take it you are amongst the mind reader category. You seem to have what is known as tunnel vision. You only see what you want to see. Have no time in my life for that have a good life. You can have the last word means nothing to me super

RE: George Zimmerman NOT Guilty!!!! Agree or Disagree?

I did not imply that but thank you for your amusing answer wave

RE: "Say Nothing Thread"

RE: George Zimmerman NOT Guilty!!!! Agree or Disagree?

Try google map wink

Or as you say that you do not see the relevance so the information should not matter to you one way or the other. dunno

RE: George Zimmerman NOT Guilty!!!! Agree or Disagree?

It just goes back to what I said. What is morally wrong is not always legally wrong here right now they are looking into how the news media handled this. Sensationalism of this case by trying to make it look different than what it was should of been beneath ethical news reporting. It has shed the news reporters and stations in the worse light than I have ever seen. And I have seen some pretty shoddy reporting. At the end of the day there is a life that has been lost never to breathe again. Just this thread alone shows how as humans we can screw up anything just by trying to think. None of us knows what happened or what Zimmerman felt or really what Trayvon was up to that night. In actuality if you look at the map he did not go the route for a simple trip to the store and home. It was raining and they said he was heading for a place of shelter. Was he? Do any of us really know. When we learn not to try and think for others and be mind readers then maybe we can have good relationships that grow and prosper. Just my opinion. The whole thing saddens me teddybear

RE: Afghanistan the Graveyard of Supper Powers

So true. I would say sad times but it seems war evil death by destruction has been here as long as man. So you just keep safe teddybear

RE: I was dead last night.

I really don't think it meant anything just a dream dunno I died according to the doctors on the operating table years ago. All I remember was I was riding in the back of a volkswagon with friends who had passed on already when the car stopped at the beach and they said I could not go any futher I had to get out. Does that mean my chariot to the after life is going to be a car that looks like a pregnant rollerskate?laugh Sad but true story. When I said to my mom what I had dreamed she said it must of been the drugs they had given me for the pain. uh oh

RE: Question

hmmm Think we might need a poll on this one bouquet

RE: Afghanistan the Graveyard of Supper Powers

hug hope you are in a safe area blues

RE: Looking for ways to help...

I don't know if there is or not. You could google and see what you could come up with. Another way you can reach them on the internet is through maybe starting a blog or chat...the problem with that is trolls. Last thing someone needs when they are already in pain is to feel picked on. Is there enough in your area maybe to start a support group? Ask your mental health center they might could give you an idea if there is enough to start this. I had a problem medically once and asked my doctor about how many was going thru this in my area and if there was anyone for them to talk too. Actually if I had of listened to my doctors I would be typing this from a wheelchair right now. When I was told I would lose the ability to walk by the time I was 50 I felt like my world was over. I cried for me and for my husband at the time. But for some reason unbeknownst to the medical community I physically got better not just better but am in better physical shape than most my age. Determination I think. Best of luck. teddybear
