You live south of the Mason-Dixon, conservative country. It is not surprising to me that you would blindly back and support the actions of the american military. I did so myself for a long time, until I started studying international politics. It's really a question of where you are on the information curve. The facts speak for themselves and are available to anyone willing to take the time to inform themselves. You, as an american citizen, can hardly be expected to disagree with the Pentagon.
Don't make me laugh uncontrollably in my coffee. Are you telling me that the US military will give their conscripts an overview of history, colonialization, wars, and the effects thereof, human rights, and moral issues? The US has been responsible for more invasive wars in the last 100 years than any other country! And none of them on your own soil!! Where has it got you? In bankruptcy court maybe...
Well maybe we live in an age where soldiers should start informing themselves on world affairs before they sign up. Gone is the age where the saying "Ours is not to question why, ours is but to do and die..." Goverments and the miltary cannot be trusted. Wake up man, welcome to reality!
Iraqi War resisters should be given purple hearts for abstaining from a war that was an utter waste of life, material, and treasure. It ruined the economy of the US, ruined the international reputation of the US, and was based on a lie. They are more honourable than the people who went to fight.
Keep yo hair on dude...people use the word "friends" lightly here online. It's the new normal. Friends online can be close, but in a different way. Next!
Thanks to all. You have clearly shown the OP that the questions here can ALWAYS get more idiotic. Never underestimate the ability of members here to reach the rock bottom of juvenile depravity.
RE: Should US War Resisters Be Deported From Canada For Not Fighting In Iraq War?
