Yes agree and again it comes down to parenting and a sense of responsibility being passed on as the child is developing. We had to contribute to earn our pocket money, we had obey by certain rules to live under that roof. We were tot that life is not always fair. There seems to be a division these day, there is only a very small percentage of teens that have it all together but majority are just fools destined to be fools as adults. Can these people take on parenting roles? To teach their kids what? Where to buy cheap drugs or the best place to rob a convenience store? I don’t think so. Its all about me these days finding your self be yourself WTF we were meant to live as one in relationships and you find yourself by contributions to your family and society.
Further, across the road there was a small party 3 girls in their early 20’s and 5 blokes in their early 30’s none of the blokes knew how to have a conversation with any of the females. The best they could do is scream and throw empties on the road.
living in the CBD I’m witnessing exactly that and on a fast decline yearly. When we were growing up we were just as bad but with allot more pride then the youth today! Glassing somebody never crossed our minds or ganging up on one person! I think we are bringing up a bunch of morons with these new age relaxed parenting ideas.
I’m more into books to do with ancient beliefs, science and science and technology. Oh and I did read a book recently The Awakening of Intelligence by Jiddu Krisnamurti
I remember years ago there was a person known as Jimmy the Greek. I wish I could remember his last name so I could check the history. Anyway he worked out some sort of a method using numerology to predict the wining horses, he proved it by picking 175 consecutive winner before a horse came 2nd this landed him in hot water after the interview as every country made it illegal for him to place a bet.
If we can assign a numeric value to everything in the universe, therefore numerically everything can be predicted. All you have to do is find a common or least denominator. ie) like a pie of a circle, Pythagoras theorem….etc..etc.
I can see both sides. In a perfect world as friends we would be supporting and helping a person to get over a difficult time in his/ her life in the imperfect world we sledge.
Is this a form of internet bulling? Don’t want to play the devils advocate here but all this could lead to something of the conscious you all might have to live with.
RE: If you could ask...
