I've thought better: say the truth about your marital status is an obligation and not doing is disrespectful.
But I still think that this site is not only for singles, then a person who has begun a relationship (and still do not know if it's just friendship or is there more) he/she should dramatically say goodbye to her friends here and delete his/her profile. That can not be demanded.
I see you have a problem about the multiculti, as you say, but Canada is like that since the beginning, we could say. There are french speakers, english speakers and native american, nobody can change this.
In a speech delivered by a tibetan lama I heard the same.
He also said other arguments, that Tibetans do not want roads and other innovations brought by the Chinese, on which I reserve my opinion. All that the Chinese just want Tibet's mineral resources is simplistic because even if there weren't Chinese in Tibet also would have established large Western mining companies, very capable of shooting down any Tibetan government to achieve this.
Don't believe all the people here are ready to taste those things
You can find frog legs in spanish restaurants, but is very difficult to find someone ready to eat snakes. In the southern Spain even pronounce it's name disturbs many people
It is interesting what you said about Quebec Aboriginals. What think the secessionists on the possibility that these natives could claim secession of their territories to be independent or choose to be canadians?
The United Nations has declared the right to self-government of indigenous peoples, and they could claim that right
If the quebecqois are worried about the possibility of losing their language then they have a reason for independence, but losing the bi-lingual status would be a loss for anglos there.
The millions of english speakers have almost terminated with speaking french in Louisiana, as an example, so perhaps the Quebecqois are trying to preserve their identity.
I don't believe that emotional reasons must determinate great decissions as that. It could be different if Quebec people wants laws or polithical changes that the rest of the Canadians doesn't want. I don't know it.
But the cultural differences between canadians are not important in a country that respects personal freedom. Do you think that a Newyorker has the same ideas, problems and lifestyle than a farmer in the U.S. middlewest? A great cultural gap exists between them and they aren't independentist.
Personally I don't think so. I did not vote because I'm not Canadian and that's not my business.
The Belgians also discussed a possible territorial partition and maybe the final decision in any of these countries will make decide to others, or that people wait to see what happens to decide.
Some people have been seen by his contemporaries as mad or "visionary", but the passing of time has shown that they were simply much more intelligent than their contemporaries.
However I think that perhaps living this situation disordered those "geniuses". It is not easy to live under the taunts of a bunch of idiots
