It does not happened to me, but I made ??a joke to my brother: antitheft devices that stores stick to products consist of a magnetized wire.
I pulled the wire of a product I purchased, and stuck it into my brother's jacket. Whenever he went to a store, theft detectors sounded when he went out, and each time he was catched and registered by security staff, until one day I explained everything and we took the wire out of his jacket.
