I think you were lucky to found alive and well. It could have very easily gone the other way. This might sound strange but it may be scary to write but you should also be happy to be around to be able to write it
I make all sorts of home made biscuits and buy a few bags of toffee lollies and make up a great big jar of goodies for each of my brothers and sisters families to share and l do the same for friends.
Dont know whether thier unique but one year l asked for a whipper snipper, the next year a drill and last year a trailer for my ride on mower...got them all
I understand how you feel to a degree, one of my brothers has seperated himself from our family, to the point where he didnt even come to my sons funeral. The last time l spoke to him was xmas day last year when he called mum and had a go at her, she hung up on him and he called back, much to his bad luck l answered told him exactly what l thought of him for acting that way towards mum especially on xmas day and l hung up on him. Havnt heard from him since and as long as he wants to act the way he is l dont want to.

They were interviewing a girl on the radio this morning who turned 11 today and she was born at 11pm...her story is on page 3 of the Herald Sun today. Thats a pretty special birthday, 11 on the 11/11/11 and being born at 11pm.
