I provided some contracted work for a good length of time. The corner where I sat with another colleague was endearingly coined "the naughty corner". Cuz no matter how hard we tried to work and be quiet and productive, inevitably it turned into a circus.
I have a friend who married and divorced THREE times. A few of us close friends of ehrs, absolutely forbid her from ever selecting another partner for herself! We told her there is going to be a panel of at least two of us, who will do the screening, then final interviews!!!
Hi, which part of Italy are you and your friend from? I was born in the Campania region. Just recently regained my Italian citizenship, so now have dual. Will be applying for my EU passport now.
I recently returned from Italy. They couldn't possibly have much time to hate each other. Most of them have such a ridiculous sense of humor, I spent most of my time laughing whenever I visited just about anyone there! That's why I want to return again early next year!
Oh, and they're also too busy fighting over politics and soccer, to think of divorce!
I have a book called "Matchmaker, matchmaker, make me a catch", by an American modern professional matchmaker. She handpicks all her matches. Makes hilarious reading. (I had thought of starting a matchmaking company. Still might one day. Cuz I would get to interview the pick of the crop!)
But it's the closest thing to traditional matchmaking by families. I will get the author's name. I really is SO funny. She recounts many of her own dating experiences. She is gorgeous but last I heard, she was still single. I think she divides her time between New York and L.A. offices.
But beware. Her fees are not for the fainthearted!
