It's certainly possible to care for somebody in a far off land...oh yes. As for popping over to see them...by all means try, but have realistic expectations.
Saving Private Ryan was incredibly distressing to watch also...very sad to see such a realistic depiction of massive and tragic human loss. Terribly great fim.
I watched The Passion Of Christ...WOW! I'm no Christian, but I was sooooo moved...wonderful film...big lump in my throat during that.
Simple. Tell her you love her precisely 3 times a week...no less guys...eat anything that's put in front of you...tell her it's delicious whatever the discomfort - it's the best way I'm tellin' ya...always flush...that's important...and keep reminding her you want her for her body and not her mind...that kind of reassurance will remove any sense that she has to be a superwoman for you.
Try to befirend them...try to be ultra-reasonable...but in a principled fashion. Stubborn people are generally irrational and a little insecure, so getting on common ground, and reassuring them that you understand their position on certain matters is always good.
It can be draining though...oh yes.
I will try up to a certain point...but if I feel my positive outlook being eroded, well I'm outa there!
RE: What Does Everyone Do for a Living??
Cool. While I'm here, has anyone ever told you that you look like Jerzy Dudek? It's uncanny!
