We are on the same page here. I believe the fear stems from the super ego or how we formed our identity before we were even five years old...fear of rejection, fear of abandonment, fear of being out of control, I think our all issues that prevent us from love.
I think that we do have to overcome the conflict of the superego and id but what you are referring to I think is the conscience that is always being pulled to grow and heal. And it is the higher conscience that does seek love.
Yeah, that is what it is...they gang up on someone. I have got so angry from someone trying to force his opinion down everyone's throat that I had to walk away to calm down. But there are a few things I know about myself, I am honest to a downfall, I a wear my heart on my sleeve and I am spit fire when need be. But I do think that it is best to walk away sometimes. Sometimes it takes the bigger person to walk away.
I am entitled to my opinion and others are entitled to their opinions. I usually say if I disagree that I disagree but that they are entitled to their opinion. I could drop it right there and with some that is acceptable but there are some who want to push their opinion down your throat. And there are some who think that they know it all and can't accept the fact that is your choice to live your life differently and that you didn't ask for their advice and that you really don't want their advice. You may even think their need to pretend to know it all and focus on everyone else or try to fix everyone is a sign of their own insecurities. Happy people don't have to be right all the time. It is okay to let people live their own life without acting self-righteous.

No, he made this thread and left on his on. After we thought he may be a fake in the other thread, he left very quickly. I guess a property tax lawyer who makes 150,000+ a year really doesn't have that much time to be spending on a dating site.
He wanted to shove his "right" opinion down everyone else's throat. Which seemed very familar. Then he left the site. I like bobby's poem I think it is the way many people feel. It is like John Lennon's "Imagine" song. But money and power are way more influential than what many wonderful people of all ages hold in their hearts. And ignorance is not bliss.
Call's someone a coward then runs away. He didn't say anything about us assuming him to be someone else, just ran out the door. Very typical of that guy.
Some people have a problem with it. I guess I did until you realize what's really important is how you feel about that person and not what everyone else thinks or says.
I am involved with a 28 year old and we discussed age today and I think he understands it better than me, that it is personality, intelligence, maturity and physical chemisty. I use to laugh when I would get emails from younger guys, never thought I could go there until I met him and we clicked.
I see a lot of resemblances, the repeating the same thing, the running away, the way he writes. Now he will come back and laugh and keep repeating himself.
