What happened to you last night? I said I have reservations about long distant relationships but I really do like your way. To bad it has to be 500 miles away.
I guess I am pretty good at accepting people's differences and how they express their individuality. People are people, they all have something to offer, we all have something to learn.
But I will confess when I stopped to ask this lady who was standing on the corner for directions in a downtown city and I didn't realize he was a man in drag until I got real close and he started talking, that was a little weird. I thought he probably wanted to be accepted as a woman and I did my best not to seem obviously confused. But appreciated the kindness of the directions anyway.
I just ask my smart 13 year old daughter what makes the world go round and in a split second she said "money." I ask her why and she said "coz you gotta go to school and get a good education so can a good job to make money so you can buy food to eat and live and buy whatever else you want. I would add that you have to then start saving to send your kids to college.
I thought it was love. But my daughter is smarter than me I think.
This is what I say about pics of people on dating sites, "he is handsome as far as the pic goes." Sometimes those pics go back quite a few years and sometimes they are fake. Mine was taken this summer, thanks for all the compliments that I look younger.
I wouldn't want to feel too intense to quick either. I am very leary when people start talking too intense too soon now. Maybe it just happens because people get lonely and love craved. I think it is like driving a car...be careful, look and listen and don't drive too fast.
This is like watching drama, so dramatic. You are interesting but very intense. I guess that is why they call it crushes. But they don't seem to last long and when you feel so intense about someone, you get crushed. But I will be your friend.
RE: american idol
They all think they can sing. Tone deaf, I guess.
