It is a shame that we are there and even have to consider going bankrupt but this is the position we find ourselves in at the cost of human lives. That is what always made me furious with Bush and his rush to war.
Well, Mr. HeinzKetchup, I don't feel like I am interested in meeting anyone from overseas at the moment...but I put no limitations on friendship. And as a friend, I enjoy reading your post and find you to be an interesting person.
So what? That is what freedom is all about. Like I said earlier there can be no evolution without the freedom to error. some people may never change there mind. But Bush's rating is 3%, why do you people care so much that EVERYONE don't think just like you.
This is a stupid Ameican bashing thread anyway. I never knew that many Germans took such delight in watching a country suffer for the mistake of it's leader. Stand up, yeah...we are...sit and criticize us while we do.
They are criticizing Americans and saying we are arrogant and ignorant, not all of us wanted this war and even the people who were manipulted have woke up.
I never wanted to stand for this war but I will stand for our Country and it's prinicples and the American people. America made a mistake and we are paying for that mistake...or is America perfect and not allowed to make mistakes?
Well unless you want to pay for the war....we will dealing with our own consequences. Nobody said for you to stay out...I said I HOPE we have a more diplomatic president soon. I have one vote and it will be for a much more diplomatic person. We just cleaned up the Senate and the House, asking for change...don't you watch the news?
I'm sorry paddy, for a minute I thought you were only asking Americans why we dislike Bush....we believe he misled us and we could not afford to undertake something that planned way before 9/11 in the cost of human lifes including innocent Iraqi's and financially. We believe it was a mistake but we will have to pay the consequences and it is our soldiers over there dying.
Nettermann, why do you find that funny..."I am liberal too and accept other's opinions as long as they are equal to mine." That is hypocritical. But I was pointing that out. You are no better than the other person who doesn't want to accept your opinion or listen to your facts and if you stay and try to ram your facts down their throat that is called fighting...you are no better.
Actually, I have looked at the argument and I have seen people against the war do a lot of personal attacking and name calling. It is no better to try to ram your facts down their throats...it's called fighting, not debating.
Hey, I am liberal and have been against Bush and this war from the beginning but you prove yourself when you call other people stupid and say they do not respect others opinions and they are always right. Just because there are more of us against Bush and this war does it make you feel superior to do the same thing you accuse others of...calling names and not respecting their opinion? You lose credibility why should they even want to listen to you?
Battle on people...no one is changing anyone's mind. If it makes you feel superior to criticize, you still have a lot to learn. It doesn't make me feel good about myself, that is why I avoid these political fights now.
I admire the intelligent man who can discuss without criticizing and personal attacks...He doesn't have to prove anything...he doesn't feel a need to be superior in his intelligence or knowledge...that is neurotic.
There is no freedom or evolution unless you have the freedom to error and be who you are and where you are today. So just take your club and beat them into submission and force them to evolve...that sounds very intelligent.
Good job hillbillyhoney....Who is the "we?" I am as liberal as they get and I get sick and tired of these people acting superior and criticizing others because of their difference of opinion. That does not make them superior.
But it is not only uneducated people who support Bush, what about his well educated base. Bush says at a dinner fucntion..."Some may call you the elite, I call you my base."
“There is nothing noble in being superior to your fellow men. True nobility lies in being superior to your former self.”
Sorry, I agree with you on political issues but when you have to make personal attacks...it sounds like scouser telling you to "get a face" cos he didn't want to debate with someone who wouldn't even show their face.
But I still don't have much interest in them...there has to be a connection on the maturity, intellectual, personality levels and I don't feel that with them
I use to get emails all the time and I would just laugh at them but after a while, there was one who I felt good chemistry with and I was wore down. He could leave me quivering too.
RE: Why do you persist in Bush bashing? Enlighten me USA.
