Sweetie the president of the US George Dubya Bush has a 3% approval rating right now. The people are tired, I mean very tired of him. The republicans don't back him like they did after this last election cos they know the people want change and they are not secure in their positions of power. I have hope for a better future when we get this idiot out of office. And I think he is back to the lame duck position that he had before he exploited 9/11 to start a war. Just makes me want to . He is just an idiot who doesn't know he is an idiot who wanted to make a legend and he made a legend of being the biggest idiot that the US has ever had as a President.

Honestly, I think it does but I think if he were intelligent and we could agree to disagree and communicate more about what we do agree on it might be possible. But honestly I have been turned off by people who have contacted me and after all this country has been through and Bush has a 3% approval rating that anyone could still say on their profile that they support the president.

Yeah, I like them young puppies, they are so playful and firm and such good stamina, if I could only get them to obey. But really I have only been with one who was quite a bit younger and we were not on the same page and I ended up being hurt. But I do try to keep an open mind and an open heart. I won't judge them because of their age if I felt they were mature and we were compatible.
oh man, I will have to make that a mantra..."cease to lust", cease to lust." I am not making light Joel that is beautiful but that lust sentiment rings so loud for me...but atleast today, I hear ya! Lust is not the wisest of emotions to adhere to.
I did a meditation tonight titled Trust Your Instincts when I was finished I was inspired to write a poem because I do like to dabble in poetry. I think I was feeling more creative after the meditation. I would like to share the poem with you.
Meditation
I looked up and what did I see it was the presence, the presence of me Confident and aware she stood in her light I ask her the question as I trembled with fright Without reservation she began to speak it was not the answer that I did seek The pain consumed me but I managed somehow To ask her, if I must do it now. She answered again and to my dismay She said don't panick, I am with you I am here to stay. You don't have to rush, it is okay to be just where you are on this day. You have good insight and in time you will know A valuable lesson meant only for you has an emotional impact and induced growth.
My daughter lives in Oregon and I visited for two weeks this past summer. All I can say is in my experience OMG is this not true...
You only honk your horn if collision is imminent and never for anything else.
If you do not make split second timing when the light turned red they were honking that horn. I always heard that Massachusetts drivers were rude, I thought Oregon drivers were just as bad, well maybe not pulling out and stopping traffic to get out the way we do here. But I thought they were horn honking wild.

I feel like leo buscaglia, that man could sure preach about life....living, loving and learning...that is all I want to do. And I really don't mind being a lone for a while either....sometimes we need a lone time...it makes us better lovers, as leo would say. To living, loving and learning.
Right now I am realizing how important patience is. That has always been difficult for me. But you can be patient when you have understanding. Forgiveness is a concept that I have finally started to understand the importance of. And acceptance is very very important. Thank you Jane for your kind words.
My mother passed away when I was 18, my father when I was 27. So I never really had to worry about pleasing them, although I carried around some beliefs that held me back for many years. One of the beliefs is that I could not trust myself, I depended on them and I needed them for survival even after they were dead so I still lived as a prisoner to false beliefs. Today, I listen to what people have to say but in the end I make my own final choices that I believe are right for me today. Everyone would not agree with them but that is the beauty of learning to value your own process and standing in your own light. I still stumble and fall sometimes but I can pick myself back up at best. I learned myself to do that, my parents never taught it to me. They taught me not to trust and to fear risk. What I am trying to say is it is your life and your process and it is up to you to free yourself from allowing your parents to control it. They had and have their own. It would be nice to have their support for your independence but they teach us from their own fear. The beginning of peace is learning that love is letting go of fear. You take responsibility for yourself, your own choices and the consequences and you realize that you are responsible for your own happiness. Walk in your own light that shines from love and not fear.
