people talk about true love but very few have actually ever experienced it. Love is usually an attraction with strong feelings. We have neurons in our brain that stem back to infancy that determine the unconcious attraction we have toward another.
That is why so many people fall in love and later realize that they ignored the red flags or Love IS blind. But pain can wake us up and make us more aware or concious about our choices, so it's all good.

sure why not. I believe that love is energy...if that person holds the energy that will attract your energy level then there you go...call it lust, love whatever you want...Goodluck!

We may have a preference but it doesn't mean that we can't be just as attracted if not more attracted to someone who doesn't hold that preference. I have a preference for men with dark hair and tan but my first love had blonde hair and big blue eyes.

I really think the personality is the most important quality.

I think i have very good intution but I just don't listen to her good enough.

The majority of the world did stand up and say no to bush but he didn't listen and him and his master strategist Karl Rove were able to manipulate the people again.

Did you know it was Clinton's idea to give a credit for child care but bush increased that credit and gave a little tax cut that might purchase a tank of gas and a bag of chips and so many poor people were taken in by this big display of generosity (sarcasim) and whatever the media said (ignorance, but not sarcasim) that he was given a second term to harm our Country more and believe me American's will be paying for bush's arrogance, stubborness, greediness, and stupidy for many years to come. Mr. Brilliant and all his brillant advisors (sarcasm) helped bin laden more than they got justice for 9/11. Most of the world and many of the smartest and best (not greedy) Americans were able to realize this.

If it was up to me not one of our young soldiers would have shed a drop of blood for the legency bush so badly wanted to create and the unetical way he wanted to take control of another countries resources and excert more control in the Middle East. He created a legacy of the worst president in the history of the US.

paddy, my sweet, dear man, we are still here and let's do make the best of it each day. Life is far from fair so we have to make the best of it and try to stay positive. I do try to look at the positive in every situation and looking at the positive I think that maybe there is something we can learn that can help us be better people.

But, it seems like a lot of power struggles to me...here, there, and everywhere. Maybe we do all need to chillax and learn how to love better. This is a dating site...not a fighting site....so many people talking about love, but paddy I am sure you know that love grows inwards then outwards. Like I am perfect, NO WAY! and I don't even like the concept of perfection...but I try and do my best.

Yeah, I figured that out while I was with the control freak. I wasn't a victim, I was a volunteer, as long as I didn't exercise my choice to stop it. The only way to stop it with him was to leave and not look back. He has never changed. I don't hate him but I don't feel sorry for him either because he is responsible for himself and his own life. I know I am not the first woman he has lost because he is so controlling and insecure. But he has choices, he could work on himself, he just chooses to stay stuck in his pain.

Good for you to get out of a sitution that caused you to feel that way. I also believe that we all do like our own space and alone time. I was in a controlling relationship for 4 years and when I got out of it, I felt like I had been held hostage for those 4 years. At times while in the relationship, I felt like I was being suffercated and I was angry at myself for allowing it. He wanted to know everything I did at every minute. And trust is very important if you can't trust someone then you don't need to be with them...the thing is he could trust me, but he accused me of things to get a response I guess. So not being able to trust was his problem but it all stemmed from his own insecurity. I learned some lessons from that relationship anyway. So I give myself a good grade.

I think people need to be free...Freedom is the truth of love...If there were more freedom and less need for people to feel they have to control it would be a better world. People need to be free...free your mind and the rest will follow. Control doesn't work. It is based on insecurtiy and it is an illusion....
Control turns good to bad and people lose respect for others who try to control them. Love is the opposite of control and fear...Love is respect and even rejoicing that another sees, acts, and lives differently than you do.
