Always here about people meeting up with their life partner from o/seas. Lots of today tonight stories about this type of thing. You never hear of any bad stories. The only bad stories I hear about is the dating agencies who rip off unsuspecting peeps in the thousands and end up with no dates.
I'm not sure about all of these ladies especially the international ones. Any tips or advice with this online dating thing would be gladly appreciated.
There is also a fact that obesity causes as many if not more health issues and a greater $$$ burden on the health system than smoking does. Just like alcohol is the most damaging drug by way of marriage breakdowns, deaths on the road, trauma, counceling and especially violence to innocent victims. But back on the topic, i'd rather go out with an alcoholic or obese person than a smoker as the smoke gets up my nose and causes discomfort to my breathing.
Yeah, my kids usually ask for mcCraps for the toy. I notice in some place, maccas can only sell a happy meal with a toy if the meal is healthy. They still sell the non-healthy stuff, it's just in reverse where the kids get the reward for choosing the healthy apple slices instead of the fries etc...
When I was obese, I ate double 1/4 pounders with a mcflurry large fries and large coke every day for lunch. I eat a sandwich with salad every day now and am 30kg lighter. I eat takeaway hardly ever now and if so it;s subway or a sandwich from a bakery

I think we all like what we can't have. The people who love you are feeling your frustration too seeing you don't feel the same way about them. Learning to love what we have is the only way to real happiness.
I never thought, married peeps may be on this site looking to play up on their spouse. How are we meant to know if someone is really seperated when in cyber space?
I hadn't thad a drink of water in 20 years or eaten fruit other than inside a few pieces of pastry with some sugar stuff on top. When I tried to swim, I couldn't even swim to the end of the pool and it's a half length pool at that. Now I'm considering swimming the Phillip Island Channel in Feb and that's 28 lengths of the pool. I'm up to 24 laps without needing a break, so I'm still in need of some more practice or I'll conk out halway across.
Back on the topic, are we more patient when we lose weight? I'd say if we discovered the formula to lose weight, and we can help others using our new found knowledge, maybe we could become impatient with other peeps weight loss. ie: mum's lost 8kg, my mate lost 10kg and is happy to fit into his old shirts again, but they just seem to take so much longer than I did, lol. Where do we get that bottle of patience from again.
I know plenty of obese people who are depressed, I was one of them. I'm deffinately much happier now, still over weight going by my BMI so at least 6kg to go to get into the healthy range. Most of the books reckon larger people are more volatile and depressed, I happen to agree with that as I've had personal experience being in that position.

I'd been trying to lose weight for years, turns out I hadn't really tried hard enough. To put it simply, I was eating too much sweet stuff and not enough fruit, veggies and water. I lost 10kg in the 1st 2 weeks however the remaining 20kg took anothe 3 1/2 months to lose. All up 30kg and it feels great to be able to walk into a shop and buy an M sized shirt instead of an XXXL. I sadly went without takeaway, chocolate, lollies and Smiths chips for 4 months. Funny thing is I don't miss them now and still haven't been back into macca's as yet.

The distance thing for me to Melb is nothing compared to where some members live. ie: 1 & 1/2hr to Melb or 45 min. to Cranbourne or Pakenham. Limiting your choices because of distance could be narrowing down the gene pool IMO, lol
I get the point about cheaper to buy. Probably why I bought in Wonthaggi as homes in inner Melb are so expensive now even for just a flat. Distance is no obstacle for me even if it is 1hr just to get to Dandenong, being in the country makes up for the traffic jams and pollution you get in the city.
Seems all of these dating sites books are full of lonely singles from the outer burbs. Either that or they're just over represented. Is there a certain attraction to outer suburbia for the average single? Maybe the mortgage belt just puts more pressure on relationships and this could be why these areas have so many singles.
I'm looking for someone who doesn't taste like an ashtray. Someone who is intelligent, not an air head. Someone who doesn't need to adorn their body with ink and piercings to be self aware of their body. Someone who doesn't mind that I have kids week about and do family things when I go out rather than pubs and clubs. Someone who doesn't get depressed at a certain time of the month and then get angry and scream. someone who is happy and doesn't harp on about their ex blah blah blah
