RE: Actively looking for work

How would you go being 1hr from the nearest Burnie? Have you been over that way?

Blind Dates

The younger you are, the less importance you place on your pre-requisites.

RE: it's back

The Feds approved it, Gunns are just trying to locate the funds to start it.

Blind Dates

No, but I was feeling a bit over dressed without sheepskin footwear. Nothings ever as it seems, what we are attracted to and others are two different things.

RE: Actively looking for work

ps: you can easily buy a house on the West coast, one of the most affordable regions in Australia, rains 300 days year, don't let your kids play in the River in Queenstown though as there's lots of pollution in it.

RE: Actively looking for work

I love strahan, Queenstown is quite remote from everywhere, love the cog railway and Gordon River cruise.
The quad bike tours of the Henty Dunes are good fun too.
If you can, try to take a drive up to Derwent Bridge and check out the Wall in The Woods, spectacular.

Blind Dates

I was set up with a blind date by one of my lovely customers.
Very good references, ticked all the boxes etc, etc...
When you finally meet one another, the vision you build up in your head vs the reality are quite alternate.
ie: tatts, eye brow piercings smokes a cigg every 5 minutes.
Needless to say incompatible.

RE: it's back

Might be some jobs going at a Gunns pulp mill if it gets up.

RE: hello im vanessa

I get your logic on this one.
As the OP has asked how to use the forums, this could be a good tip.
Always reply to the posters in your own thread, well the ones who aren't ripping your bad spreads.

RE: What are you Listening to right now?? Vol-4

Gladys Knight & The Pips
I love her voice.

Would you let your partner partake in the forum chit chat on a dating site?

I would hazard to guess that in the forums, there would be 50% of the members here who are not single.
Maybe a big name change to couples cheat chat or singles enter at your own risk.

RE: Actively looking for work

You need to reside where you go for the job so you can get straight to work.
There's a bit of a ression happening ATM with the % rates, bills, petroletc all rising.
The job adds are down and retail spending is down.

I know Victoria has it's down side, 4 seasons in one day and all, but it's not that bad.

Would you let your partner partake in the forum chit chat on a dating site?

Now that would be cheating

Would you let your partner partake in the forum chit chat on a dating site?

wouldn't you be too sore to put it on your lap?

RE: Aging

Try watching ET, Not Without My Daughter, Song For A Raggy Boy, these should give you some tears.

They are a waste of space, you click on their profile, damn they're not single, what the hell are they doin' on a singles site when they're not single? doh.
It just makes browsing through the profiles harder when you have to spend all that time going through so many married peoples profiles or mistakenly thinking they were single and getting your hopes up prematurely

Would you let your partner partake in the forum chit chat on a dating site?

I'm far from it, but I do have values and do not see why a married or defacto couple need be on a singles dating site for any reason other than to cheat on their OH.

Would you let your partner partake in the forum chit chat on a dating site?

There are plenty of other online social sites to be on and many more setting up daily, why if you're with someone do you find it such an inconvenience to go without talking and chatting to singles?
Surely couldn't be because you're hoping for some on the side while the OH is away the mice will play.

RE: The Movie Critic

1965, it also has Rex Harrison in it.
I haven't seen it for years.

RE: The Movie Critic

They are actually quite deep, everyone deserves what happens to them and do it to themselves. There bad or evil choices are what makes these bad things occur to them.

RE: The Movie Critic

It stars Charlton Heston

RE: The Movie Critic

Too many gay things these days, it's like they're only 1% of the population, but get 20% of the air time like the gay film and entertainment hosts on morning telly, Molly, the block, queer eye, etc, etc...

I'm watching The Agony And The Ecstacy, it's about Michael Angelo.

RE: The First Word That Comes to Mind .. Again

boring

RE: Tradies........

Unless you put the flatpak together yourself, there's no real saving after you pay someone the labour costs onsite to assemble the kitchen cabinets.
When I was delivering them, the kitchen co's used to pay $550 to have them installed in a day but most times it took a lot less time thant that and they could sometimes install 2-3 kitchens with a mate in a day.
The cabinets are quicker to put together in a factory with all of the tooling in place and because this is all the workers do, they can keep this cost down.
I personally hate Bunnings cabinets with a passion, no matter what you do, they still come out ugly compared to a proffessional cabinet co. and just look cheap and nasty.
