How many people feel happy with their partner? Does our partner make us happy or are we supposed to be more self fulfilled about life and give more of ourselves to get more? Some people are only happy when their partner is with them 24/7 while some people have lives outside of a relationship with friends and family.
There are a lot of woosy whimpy people out there who couldn't give a stuff and take the easy road instead of battling on and fighting for what they have had.
You still need someone to mediate why you are/were/did get together and focus on the good more than the bad and work out how to get past the hurdle or pot hole in the road by building bridges and managing the bends and forks in the road on your way as life isn't easy but can be negotiated with communication and common sense and a willing open heart.

That is a very selfish attitude many women here subscribe to these days. Gone are the married til death do us part. Easy come easy go hey? I'm not getting you are happy, your just unhappy about him and don't like something he's done/doing. No reason to have a divorce there at all. How about talking through with him about your concerns and telling him you are going to walk away, before getting strangers advice about your life we know nothing about? Sounds like you're not talking and that's a big problem already. Get the balls up to confront your demons and tell him what your feeling before making a decision you may later regret as you may end up with a dud after you have just experienced gold.
Being rediculed and belittled is good. It means someone cares about you. They wouldn't do it if they didn't. I know they make court orders to prevent people doing this in front of their kids - belittle mum or dad, but in all honesty, while you were there, a backhanded, oh dear, I never knew you still had feelings and cared for me still, thankyou.
