Don't settle for 2nd best. Be wary about accepting offers of safety and security at the expense of your own creative freedom. Once you trade your freedom for the illusion of security, you have a hard time ever getting your freedom back.

I'm a little dim I must admit on this subject I'm not very bright. But if I'm changing a 6o watt incandescent over to a long life, I don't get the recommended 10watt globe as they are very dim, I just get the one that's meant to throw out 100 watts - 20 watt and it seems to do the trick.
I hate those green bags as the stitching always comes apart and they tear easily. I knew I should have bought a few thousand biodegradable plastic bags before they go and enforce a greenie tax on each bag I buy.
