Yeah it's good stuff but couldn't see it working as a soap, after all if someone is getting killed every episode of a soap it would seem strange! It would lose its dramatic force.
I would say gross negligence, couple with a fear of litigation....due to the lack of guidelines as to what the doctors can do , within the law ,as it stands.
Yeah I'd say that was it, understandable to a point, as they were thinking about their careers and maybe even the law but how could you let your patient just get weaker like that? hard to believe.
@Phoenix, I don't know why you keep mentioning the loyalist flute band playing outside the catholic church? Nobody here thinks that was anything less than disgraceful, there's no disagreement so why keep mentioning it?
The victimhood I refer to is perfectly summed up in your last paragraph, you think it's ok to murder a man last week because the other side are bad too, what a way to think! As I said in my post, victimhood means it's ok to do anything you want as all you can ever be is victims, never perpertrators! A very dangerous way to think.
The sectarianism you point to is shocking, no doubt about that, and your solution: bomb and kill one million prods into a united Ireland will make that sectarianism much worse not better.
Ok lets clear up this thing about names. The term 'dissident republican' with people and the media in this country refers to those republicans who don't accept the settlement in the North. This is to distinguish them from mainstream republicans, in other words Sinn Fein. If I said that 'republicans' murdered a man in the North recently people would assume I was talking about SF and their supporters! Therefore the term 'republican' means SF while the term 'dissident republican' means those groups that split from them, such as RIRA, CIRA, ONH, 32CSM ext... You mustn't be familiar with things in this country if you didn't know that! Anyway, I'm happy to clear that up.
No, socialism is not the problem. Most socialists are peaceful and democratic. The problem with dissident republicans is that they think they are right, everyone else is wrong, and if you don't give us what we want we will keep hitting you until we get it. They are steeped in victimhood, which means that anything they do is ok, no matter how bad, because the enemy did something worse to them once.
RE: Occupied six counties...
