BTW....I seriously want to say, that if this thread about OCD offended anyone, I am sorry. That wasn't the intent.

Truth is I was diagnosed as OCD while serving in the Army. I don't believe I am now. I just like things done a certain way in my house!!

I used to do the same thing I would alway count the stairs and if there was an uneven number, I would step back and forward again, si I would end up with an even number! Do you think that is ODD

While a D I in the Army I would count the number of stitches on a soldiers name tag, and if there were not twenty stitches per inch....he received demerits!! BUT the AR620-1 stated that a name tag must be machine stiched, not hand stiched, at twenty stiches per inch!!! I was only following regulation


But I'm taking my meds....I feel much better now!!

Nah....just a karaoke buddy!! Known each other for years. One time I asked her to go to dinner with me and she turned me down. Years later I asked her why she said no....and she said because you were married. She didn't know my wife had died and I just wanted dinner company!!

Now I won't ask her out because!!

I call it doing things right! A lady that was visiting me, the other night said it was OCD!!

I insist upon using certain glasses for certain drinks.

I have glasses for juice...these are also used for milk, so dunking Oreos is easier!

I have glasses for iced tea, glasses for water and soda.

The comment came after I mixed her a gin and tonic. She said she likes her drinks in larger glasses

I refused to put a gin and tonic in my soda glass!! My house..my rules!

You are so right! Before I was placed in their care, I had no understanding of what Hospice really did. I thought they just watched over you till you died. I can't begin to tell you of the wonderful things they did for me and with me!! If I was a believer, I's say God Bless them all!!

Twice, while under Hospice Care...it is the care givers that really helped me pull through. Sometimes staying in my home 24/7
