yes, there is one person here that I started out not liking, but now I find I am very fond of her!!
Then there are those that I thought were friendly...but eventually discovered they just swayed with the wind.
I came on CS hoping to find a partner, but now I realize how foolish that was, but I have grown to really like a few people, although our outlooks are different. I treasure their honesty. Something a lot of people on CS, don't really want!
sure...my third wife Sue loved me more than anyone ever has and ever will. I loved her as much as I was capable of, anyway! We were a great couple. I still curse God for not letting me love her as she loved me
We were married for 16 years. She had a heart attack on Christmas 2000. And died In Jan. If she had lived, we would still be married to this day.
I have many momentos from my wofe that died. I still keep her picture on my wall. Any other relationship, when they left. so did their memories!!....NEXT!!!
as you know i am no supportter of christianity. But I accept Josephus as a contemporary of Christ. As far as using terms that were attributed to later writers, could it be that they were influenced by HIS writings??
so true! I remember the days that I lived on Kraft Mac&cheese. All I had in the house was that, Capt Crunch, and roaches!! Not the kind you smoke, either!!
No, I don't think that is wrong. I think others should worry about how they appear, to a perspective partner. Many just don't care. I am so worried that I won't be what they are expecting, I usually cancel before we even meet!
I will remind you again, that Josephus was a contemporary of Jesus. he was here when Jesus was assisinated. And in his muti volumn work, The History of the Jews. He shows that Jesus was indeed a human being and was killed. Of course, being a Jew, hw discounts the claim that Jesus was the Messiah.
Prior to this time, all Jewish history was handed down by word of mouth. The Roman emporer was afraid that their history would be lost, so he commisioned Flavius Josephus to write down the history of the Jewish people for posterity.
So there was a least one writer from the time of Christ. These works were commisioned around 64 AD
