actually this wasn't about who or what I may or may not have said. And you are indeed welcome to your own opalinion. But I was only asking how to block mail!!
Can someone tell me hoe to block all mail coming from CS members?? I have tried, byunchecking all the boxes on the mail list(countries). I am still getting the hate mail. I have asked the mods, how to block mail and have gotten no response...surprise surprise!!
I admit I never let things go. It's a defense mechanism. I've learned to protect myself from people, so they can not ever hurt me. You might say my give-a damn is busted. I love that phrase!!
These last few days have proven to me that I am right. Some people on here that I thought were friendly, have said things that were just not called for. Notice that I said friendly and not friends, as I have no friends and work hard to keep it that way.
I have said some mean things also, but these were in retaliation. Not saying it was right, but that's why. And these were to people I never thought of as friendly, any way.
So, yes, I hold on to my past, to secure a better future for myself.
I can respect that you want to vote for O'Bama. certainly wouldn't. I believe America is so disalusioned after these past eight years, they are unrealistically hoping that O'Bama is going to come riding in on a horse and save the world. It's not going to happen.
He is a politician and will tell us what we want to hear. After elected, he will do what he has to to get another term. We all thought after booting out the Republican in congress, we would see some changes....nothing happened. The same will be with O'Bama.
I will say again. Americans are not good at picking leaders, they are reactionary, instead of taking action, thoughtfully. The same people who blindly elected GWB for eight years are the same people who will again vote. Why should we expect them to pick a good person. Our record speaks for it's self
I have to admit that being a muslim in America today, would pose problems for someone running for president. I just wish we could keep politics out of religion and religion out of politics
Personally, I think it is the only sure fire way to beat McCain. But I would never vote for it. I will be surprised if it ever happens. Too much bad blood between them. But this has been a season of many surprises....so it could happen.
I still like Hillary and don't understand the hate for her shown in this thread. I wouldn't vote for Hillary, but she doesn't deserve the treatment she has been getting from people in this thread, either.
Now, I sincerely hope that mcCain does not win...but I also hope that O'Bama doesn't win. Of course, I am going to be let down either way, as someone has to win. In that case I would choose McCain instead of O'Bama. He will divide this country waose than it is now. But that is just my opalinion!!
so are we gonna turn this into another nasty name calling thead, too??? Isn't one or two enough at one time?? O'Bama won....so what?? I am sooo disappointed....but we move on. Lets leave the hate in the other thread.
The good news is that the prospects are looking better for McCain now. I won't vote for either candidates and will actively campaign against O'Bama, but, hate the haters, not the candidate. Someone will have to lose in Nov, and I hope it's O'Bama. I know of no other candidate that will divide this country like he will.
BTW, he can't help the name his mother or father gave him!!
I take solace in knowing that he was elected by the same people who elected GW for two terms.....I didn't expect them to vote intelligently this time either.
I believe people here, on both side of the argument(I dare not call it a debate) are over simplifying things.
Dude...I don't think anyone fails to understand the ramifications of whose in control of the White House. I like the phrase I read in a thread, When America sneezes, the world catches cold! The entire world is affected by our politics and financial stability.
I think what some of us have a hard time understanding is why you are so obsessed with O'Bama. I mean, ten thread of repeating the same thing over and over, gets redundant.
Now, before I am accused of trying to "supress" your posts, let me say, Have At It!!. Freedom is what I am all about! I just fail to understand , what I CONSIDER overkill.

someone spoke of the wall of fame....I forgot to mention my many many military awards. Won't bore you with the details, but I was one hell of a soldier. I was required by my superiors to have a wall of fame in my office, and haven't shown them since .
I am just now, however beginning to assemble it again. Horray for the Arny days
