LOL, yes a colon is right. Well, thanks for your answer, but I was looking for specific examples. Because what you're saying, goes without saying...only wanted examples (I don't mean naming names, of course) to add to the discussion.
Actually, no, I don't. But I keep hearing people say, Oh, there's no difference. Age is just a number, and stuff. I prefer men in my same decade, primarily..or maybe late 30s. 10 years younger is plenty young enough. But i don't like them older. Never have.
I was trying to get people who say "age is just a number" to really consider it when talking about a truly committed relationship. Sure, age is just "a number," when you're horizontal and not out in public. But..when it comes down to it...
And I noted with interest how much more honest people are when you threaten them with hell, too...hehehe
I probably should have mentioned I'm not really talking about a woman being younger than the man, because that's been "typical" for many years. Even significantly younger.
Mainly, I mean a man being with a much older woman and a woman being with a much younger man. It's still "taboo," for the most part, unless you're a Hollywood star and can afford to be "eccentric."
Since you responded to my post, I assume you meant that for me, at least in part. And I do appreciate the kind sentiment, but I'm not a "Southern Belle." I was taken here at as a child and am being held here against my will. I want out. Please send help.
You may not think you would right now, but if you experienced said 48-year-old once, you'd never think about aforementioned 25-year-old again, I can assure you.
Okay, so most people, it seems, don't think that a significant age difference is ...well...significant, when dating or, say, "hooking up," with someone.
But what about long-term, monagamous, don't even think about running off with that hot 25-year-old babe or stud, I'll love you for the rest of our lives, no matter what, kind of relationship?
And don't lie cuz, if you do, you'll go straight to hell.
RE: Embarrassing...Yea!
Shoulda never told her about that 6.5 inches ahead of time...
