Heard a bunch of racket coming from outside this morning … went out & found 3 baby raccoons trapped in my garbage cans - each in a separate can. Cripes! They were crying their eyes out Got them outta the cans, one by one. The first one wanted to snuggle, the second wanted absolutely nothing to do with me, and the third one tried to attack me I gave them some leftover food, which they ate immediately, then they left. Hopefully they can find their mom …

Well, my dad wasn't the best while I was growing up … but, he has changed & has become a better man. Now, we have a good relationship & we are there for each other. I spoiled him rotten yesterday with gifts & a home cooked meal (he doesn't cook), followed by his favorite dessert.

I'll be putting a roast in the crock pot today along with some carrots, potatoes, onions, and garlic. It'll be melt-in-your-mouth tender, moist & delicious come dinner time.
