The gap between conversing and meeting can be many months, if not at least a year in some cases, I wonder how many fall by the wayside in the interim period and take up other offers? It must happen quite frequently, I suggest. All that initial effort down the drain for one party...
Entirely agreed in all respects, but how many people are as honest as you? There are many players on other internet dating sites, it's fact of life.
We don't meet people down at the local pub anymore and we don't tend to meet at work either, everyone here in the UK in particular, is too busy keeping their heads down, trying to pay their mortgages and keep their jobs etc.
How many guys, or women for that matter, feel slightly guilty when responding to mail in a positive way thus giving rise to unrealistic expectations of a future relationship, when in fact, all that is meant and intended is a courteous reply to mail received.
If you find them attractive, what do you do? Talk about the weather; hold them in abeyance, just on the off chance that your favoured one does not work out?
How many in-depth but innocent conversations can you hold with various members without being accused of being duplicitous?
