All agreed, but how to get those fireworks going again?
Around 90% of my contacts were made as a result of responses to the forum posts where replies sparked off a relationship, virtual or otherwise, due, almost entirely to the original format.
It is a dating site, that is a fact. What is also a fact, is that spontaneous debate seems to have diminished to a two party question and answer session.
It is such a shame that the forums have been reduced to this state as a result of some members’ irresponsible conduct.
I rest my case, but will continue to contribute in the hope that we can re-establish some of the more interesting aspects of the debates which were at the heart of CS.
If it is of any encouragement to you, the members that I talk to and the few that I have introduced, all without exception, consider CS to be one of the best formats in the business.
This includes disgruntled ex members. Apropos of which, Peeps, with accusations of sycophancy, will be given two fingers and shown the door.
I understand that perfectly well, but that was not what the article was about.
I am an immigrant from Ireland and then on to Wales, that does not give me the right to ignore the customs of my adopted country, burn their flag, cause violence in the streets and then expect to receive the financial benefits offered by the system of that country. This comment does necessarily apply to Australia.
I do also however, reserve the right to defend my own principles which do not extend to the acceptance of ill informed, inarticulate, ethnic insults.
