Scammers, thieves, evil thinking people, they are on the internet just as they are out in society or in jail.
Some scammers send you same message twice cause they arn't really pursuing you or anyone for relationship, it's a e-mail they generate and send out to 100's at least. Very suspicous and glad you didn't give it to him. Some people tell a total stranger about their life after 1 e-mail. Careful and remember, anyone can be anyone in cyberspace. Stay safe please ladies

RE: women wearing make up

There are a few different reasons we ladies have. For 1 we are taught by relatives or society at young age that we are almost expected to wear some make up. At 13 I wore it to look grown up and cause my friends did. After about 30 I wore some or alot of makeup depending on the day. Sometimes none. Each man has his own likes about make up.

The rule they all seem to have, at least in USA. Men refuse to stop and ask directions!!!!!!!!!! Would like to take that part away.

I can speak for myself in truthfulness. I am real. I tell the truth in my profile. I will not play mind games or be baited into an arguement in life or online. I try to be polite, most of the time I am. So if a man writes to me and I find an interest in him, whatever from there. If someone puts you down anywhere on the net, grow some tuff skin. No 1 likes everyone else. Wish we all did though

What became of all the game shows? Use to be I'd stay home sick from school and watch tv game shows all day. The reality in my opinion is not something I care to watch as entertainment or for knowledge. Survivor I thought was good but it was a game. Others no5 so much.

I think there have been many talented people here before and now. Many of the cards are better than those that are offered for $ on the net. I have used them for onsite and off. Cards are a feature most sites don't offer and great selection. So thanks to theose who took time to make cards for members to use, that includes staff

A day late this year

To Veterans and those still active in the service, sorry a day late. Want to say thanks for your service. Yesterday was Veterans Day but forgot to come and say thank you as always in past.

On another note, in last few years seems people and posting of comments to threads has really slowed down. Anyone agree? 2 posts in 1 hope I didn't break a rule

Walk in the woods if possible, clears my head of all the noise in there. I feel 1 with nature.
]Have to say music plays a close 2nd. Rarely listen to classical, but when I want to escape, close my eyes lay down and the smooth sounds relax my body and soul.

On the 24th of this month I will quietly celebrate my son's B-day. He would be 39. I lost him 14 years ago. So lonleygal, sadly your not alone. Time doesn't heal in these situations I think you'd agree.
I hope your young man didn't suffer before leaving our world. He will always be with you as a 13 yr. old. I lost my bestfriend when I lost my son. However I have only a few tiny regrets and many great memories. If you want to message me please feel welcome. Many people don't know what to say when they hear the loss of a child from the parent. I tell them not to feel awkward, just a smile and a hug will do. In memory of your son. Always share the good and the happy times with others and in your mind, it will keep him alive in you. JMO
I hope you have found a good place to be with it.

For now Seinfeld was the best comedy ever. The writers had a unique style. Still watch it and often.
Like History and National geo although they have now lowered themselves into many reality shows.
Lived for Grays Anatomy for 3 years.

I know some specifics that need to be by choice a part of my life. As for using it in the context of looking for a mate, I would love to find someone exactly as I could wish him to be. That is too easy. Part of finding the right one is being willing to compromise some and him too. It takes work to keep any good relationship going ove time. I am ready for that. Just no one yet who has sine I was 32 Life Happens! I am okay being single and hope I meet someone I can treat very special, time will tell. Never Settle! You will be unhappy and putting on a front will get old.

He was a true inspiration & for me always will be

Greetings CS Members, I know there were a few threads about Jeepers yesterday. When I found out he passed on yesterday, I wrote in 1 of the threads. However whether you knew or knew of Jeepers, we can all learn and take from his behavior and personality. He and I messsaged each other. I know that some others knew Jeepers as I did. A clown or a positive outlook, he will be I hope always an inspiration to me. I am sure there are others who feel this way.
]He and I agreed no matter how bad a situation we can learn something from it. This was the worst situation I have learned from in a few years. It is sad and I have a tear dripping on my cheek.
]I have taken from Jeepers leaving a feeling that my complaints are never as bad as being given a death sentence by a Dr.. I have had the experience of knowing a man who through pain, concern, and all that goes with an inoperable cancer, that kept things light and found joy in each day he awoke. Never asking for pity and doubt he ever felt it. Would say in message to me, I'm doing good today and you? Asking about me in his illness! Hope to always remember him in a light of courage,caring and just an all round good guy. We should all learn from him. Terrible,his death, but we can gain some from it if we choose. Good memories and a last to Jeepers.

I recieved ma phone call telling me Jeepers had passed on.
]He had such courage and was so positive and pleseant. Never complained that I know of. We sent one another messages about being positive, trying to smile no matter what happens etc. He was really funny with his wit. I will miss hearing from him.
Hope we can all take some optimisim from the way Jeepers showed it even towards the end.
Here's to a man who inspired many of us left on earth.

I wasn't there but I wonder if there wern't some behaviors before she just left that gave you a sign? Of course this was awhile ago on here so your probably gone already. Maybe you didn't know her well before moving in? Just take time to grieve it as any loss and trun the page. Better now then in a few years from now. Hope things get better for you.

Over the years here I have had members confide in me or share in e-mail about another. That is okay if it is truth. I don't believe anyone has a right to come in forums and mock or tell hideous things about another member. People who live in glass houses shouldn't throw stones. Always liked that quote.

I am at times impressed (well was back in the day) of original lines from a man who looks me in the eye saying whatever. I am into poetry so may be part of it . If it is a line and both the words and the mans demeaner show he is looking to look good to impress friends near by or is looking to get some play time in bed, I use a come back line depending what he said. I vote ok on pick up lines that are sincere and are used to cover a mans shyness. Been some years since I heard any.

I believe that good communication is a key reason. Also unwillingness to comprimise on serious issues. We live in a throw away society, so easy to divorce and move on. Should be a fee to divorce rather than to be able to marry.

I know of a few people who are labeled as Narccissitic. They fit the profile . I just never say someting i a fact if I don't know for sure, or seen it myself. I fortunatly was never with a man who showed the traits. I'd have been out of there fast! Personally Disorder that does not have a cure or a med. to change behavior. I feel for people who have or are with someone who fit the label! Many, mant killers fit the profile. Hope you spinglish have not or are not dealing with that in your life!
