RE: Are you into Belly Dancing ?

I personally am not into belly dancing even if I had the " belly " for it, however, I could quite easily get " into " the lady in the video. . . banana

RE: 5 most important characteristics of the one you're looking for

The five most important characteristics in a partner would probably be :

#1- breathing is very important ( I'm not into necrophilia ).

#2- Not being a fall down drunk or heavy into heroin or cocaine

#3- Not being an inmate of a penitentiary or mental institution

#4- Not being on the FBI's most wanted list

#5- Not having voices in her head telling her to butcher and kill randomly

The rest we could probably work out.

RE: Anti Trump 2

Lindsy, Ther is an error in your statement. More people actually voted for Hillary than for Trump. He used the electoral college to obtain the position he is in now.

The electoral college was a compromised system put in place when the country was young. Communications moved at the speed of the horse. Tallying all the votes from citizens would take a phenomenally long time, so the task fell on the states to do it. There is no reason to adhere to it in this age of mass communication. It also is the least democratic way of electing our leader. At the present, only thirteen states actually elect the president. The other thirty-seven don't count as they do not have the number of delegates to do it. Thirteen votes one way and thirty-seven vote another and the thirteen win doesn't sound very democratic to me, how about you.

RE: Anti Trump 2

At my age, I can remember many presidents going all the way back to Ike. Some were better than others and some were lambasted more than most. I have however never seen the outrage and genuine disgust for the one we have now. People I meet openly ask when they are going to impeach him? The mistrust and out and out lies he spews does not seem to help his case. I have also read independent sources that have him as the worst president ever, and it is only a year and a half in office. Something is definitely wrong.

RE: Ginger or Mary Ann?

Either one would make my day! ! ! . . love

RE: Kitten or Ox

I have a weak resistance to temptation but I'm strong smelling. Does that count?

RE: New Swim Suit Fashion

This is the best reason I have seen for bringing back the thong bikini.

RE: Food Waste

With half the Earth's population not always able to get enough to eat, wasting food is one of the biggest crimes I can think of. You don't have to overbuy anything at the supermarket and all the food that is over the expiration date can be distributed to homeless shelters and animal rescue houses. You also should not throw all your organic garbage in the landfill. You should compost it and try growing some of your own. Just put it in a small bin and nature will do the rest. You will then have the most delicious fruits and vegetables you ever tasted, all for little or no cost to you.

RE: Gun tattoo. Why would you?

Is the gun positioned up ( towards vital parts ) or pointing down ( just shoot your toe off ). That seems like it could have some rather complex future issues.

RE: Roseanne- she has a first amendment right to state her opinions

What a shame, I was just getting into the show because it was funny. I can also see how Disney its parent company would like to avoid controversy. I can not see Walt running for cover but the " suits " that run it now have no stiffness in the backbone section. I'm also glad that " All in the family " and " Married with children " aired when it did, as I would miss two riotously funny shows if it aired now.

RE: Patriotic theme music and Winston Churchill speeches

The truth is that Winston Churchhill was a mean, cantakerous, hard headed old drunk. He was however the right man for the job at the time, so despite his flaws ( which where many ) I'm glad he was there when we needed him. Thank you Winston.

RE: Happy World Dracula Day

Forget Dracula, he doesn't like the wine. . . . wine . . . buddies

RE: What’s the best way to skin a dead ground hog?

Trade him in for a fresh possum. You really need to eat more possum.

RE: Nobel Peace Prize and our Brilliant US President.

I just love it when someone else gets's a Nobel, all the liberals say it is not for any real accomplishment and is from a consistent ueber liberal, white guilt, self-loathing Nobel Committee. Now that their guy gets it then it is a big accomplishment. I just love your inconsistency. . . . . . rolling on the floor laughing . . . . rolling on the floor laughing

RE: How can I repair my microwave oven?

The problem isn't with the microwave, it's with the cups. They put the handles on backward and now they stop at the back of the turntable. You don't need a new microwave, you need new cups and pans.

RE: This Is Still My All Time Favorite Image

There is just something intrinsically wrong with that picture and I hope it isn't a glimpse at the future.

RE: Bill Cosby and his downfall

Goodbye Fat Albert.

RE: What color banana do you like?

Here in Puerto Rico bananas and especially plantains are a staple. The green plantains are sliced thick then fried till soft, they are then mashed and put back in the pan to brown. They are called tostones and with a little salt are so good they are addictive. Ripe plantains are also cooked and used but are sweet and go well with spiced meat or just boiled and eaten alone.

Most indigenous bananas are the short and fat variety but we also have the red type. We also have a small and delicious yellow type that is not quite as sweet as regular but much preferred. They also use green plantains for mofongo ( yes I know it sounds weird but it is very good ) and also for pastellies . If you come here especially around Navidad you will be treated to what I'm talking about. I also have a suspicion that you will enjoy it.

RE: Hey String, they're talking about your buddy

That video was " almost exclusively " hilarious . . . rolling on the floor laughing . . . rolling on the floor laughing

RE: Hey String, they're talking about your buddy

I have noticed that. When there " hero " does something they think is good, they all come out in droves and post comment after comment heaping on the praise. Now that reality sets in they are nowhere to be found.

It's no secret that I do not like Trump and his brand of lying and cheating, but I have never seen the low approval numbers and out and out contempt for any President ever. I'm in my seventies and I've been here since Truman.

RE: Hey String, they're talking about your buddy

I can't even believe that you are shocked by this at this stage of the game. Trump and his henchmen have been systematically raiding the public coffers for decades and blaming the other side for its woe's. It is a common trick of casting blame on the other side while they rob it blind. Now that they can pardon themselves for anything that they do, the abuses will only continue at an accelerating pace. It also proves that there is a class of people so stupid that they will ignore the huge pile of evidence and only praise there " Hero ".

RE: Melania Trump

Well, I guess if you were married to a selfish, self-serving, domineering, and hard-headed uncaring billionaire like Trump, you would only smile in the company of others also.

RE: American doctor

Do they have periods at the end of there sentences in Antartica, and is this what you and your party is looking for? You also asked for someone between the ages of 27 and 57. Shouldn't you have asked for someone between stupid and very gullible instead?

RE: Which James Bond do you fancy most? Thread for the Ladies:)

Do you think that the "bad " guys will ever learn to not chase James Bond in any kind of vehicle? I also wonder when they will learn to stop sending pretty girls to foil him? While we are on the subject, where do they get all those flunkeys that can't hit the broad side of a barn? Is this something that they look for on there resumes when they hire them.

RE: If you could be an expert on anything..

You know what they say, an "X " is a has-been and a spurt is a little bit of pee. I do not think I want to be an " expert " in anything. . . . . laugh

RE: The Biggest Mistake you can make is...

It is only a crime when it happens to you . To everyone else it is just " life ".

RE: What would you like to accomplish by the end of the year?

Well at my age I just want to make it to the end of the year. . . . .laugh

RE: Terminal Illness

There is no end of people who insist on telling you how to live and they will tell you how you should die also. If you are terminally ill then you should have the right to end it and not suffer or be a burden on your family. I knew someone dying of cancer and was embroiled in the controversy of taking opioid painkillers to ease the suffering. So what if he would get addicted. He didn't last that long anyway.

All the nutters and self-righteous people will tell you that " Jesus saves ". So why can't he save us from those people?
