The snakes that live here are are for the most part far and few between. they mostly live in the mountain area and are almost never seen. They where more numeral in the past but the Spanish ( not St. Patrick ) introduced the mongoose to the island and now it is extreemly rare to see a snake.
Most if not all of the critasizem over Cohen is based on the fact that he is a lier. This isn't too surprising given that he is A: a lawyer, and B; his boss Donald J trump is an almost everyday fact checked lier himself. Honestly now, what would you expect. You also have to remember that when you make a pact with the devil, there will be things you didn't bargain for. . .
Trump ran on the promise of not only building a wall, but having Mexico pay for it ! To now say that he is obligated to build the wall but dissreguard the entire promise is not only false but a political trick to give the immpression that he actually keeps his promisess. Something he does not do !
If you do not like Bernie, then you are in for a rather bad time of it. He just announced that he is running for President and by all accounts he will probably be just that come November of 2020. Now as for socialism, Americans actually do favor that type of leaning. Just look at social security. Do you think that if any politician stopped that he would be around for very long? I also would say the same thing about Medicaid and Medicare. Let's not forget unimployment insurance , as well as all government financial assistance Yes I know that these are facts but realy when did that get in the way of all this propaganda to the contrary? . .
I'm not sure that the President can just manufacture a national crisis to get some project started or compleated. It will be an interesting case if he does. The system of checks and balances may not, in the long run, allow it to become the norm.I do not think that the national emergency clause is there to bypass legislation.
Let's see now, Trump is supposed to set up Nancy Pelosi for some kind of surprise ending or retaliation. Now I hear that he will sign new legislation that will fund the government for the next three weeks. Yes, he sure showed Nancy what a shrewd negotiator he is. The only trouble is that Nancy and the Democrats got what they wanted and the " great negotiator " didn't get anything he wanted. Yes, he sure showed Nancy ! . . . . . . . . .

Here is a fact ( and not an alternate fact ) nobody has thought of yet. Now that the wall or fence or whatever spin name they are giving it is to be built out of steel, it is the easiest thing to go right through it. All you need is a medium-sized plasma cutter and perhaps a portable generator to power it. A bottle of C O 2 would also help. All of this would fit in the smallest of pick-ups or the back of an SUV. You could also put it in the trunk of an average sized car. Just go up to the fence and start the generator. take the plasma cutter and slice right through the steel slats. you could have a hole big enough to walk through in about 10 to 15 minutes. In about a half an hour you could cut a hole big enough to drive the truck through!
None of this equipment is hard to find and all but the highest top dollar set would be well under two thousand dollars. Plasma cutters will slice through anything and at record speed. Well! so much for the billion dollars " White Elephant ".
PS: Any welding supply or industrial supply shop or catalogue will have everything you need to utterly burn large holes in the fence. Just think, five billion to build it and approximately fifteen hundred dollars to defeat it. Wow! no wonder the democrats don't want that worthless thing!
Yes, he can build the wall as he promised, All he has to do is remember all of the promise to get Mexico to pay for it. No need to shut the government down. Maybe if Mexico does not want to pay he can shut their gov down till they pay up as he promised.
It is rather funny how all the extreme right-wingers are downplaying the current investigations as non-consequential or better yet some left-wing plot to avenge some misdeed they think happened. They think that it will just fade away as time moves on because it is in there reality nothing of substance. The actual facts do point to a conclusion that gets more and more serious every day. With indictments and the discovery of more misdeeds, the day the real hammer falls is not that far off. I can only speculate as to how they will justify their position, perhaps with " alternate facts " and the usual cry of " fake news ".

I can not understand all the political drama about building a wall on our southern border. Didn't Trump keep insisting that Mexico would pay for the wall? So if Mexico will pay for it like he said they would, what do you need approval from Our government for?

Francis Scott Key was just writing what he saw at the time. I do not think that he had any idea that he was writing our national anthem. Historians agree that the first two stanzas were written at the aftermath but some think that the rest was added later for the printing in the newspaper. It is an interesting story none the less.
In response to the revelation of the tax returns, it is true that there is as yet no law or executive order for him to reveal them. He did, however, state that he would do so as soon as they came from the audit. The IRS, however, stated that there is no reason to not show the returns if they are under audit or not. Being under audit is not a reason for hiding them, and can at any time be publicly shown. I do think that the IRS should be more informed in these matters than most could claim.
If Trump is going to investigate leaked sensitive material is he going to also look at the files that were left lying around unattended at Mar-A- logo and how about the time when he had very sensitive secret information that he turned around and just handed to the Russians at the Whitehouse. I think that an investigation would be a welcome thing, don't you?
Sears has been shooting itself in the toe for over twenty years. It's retail practices as well as it's higher prices for what everyone else carries didn't help. When it began it's selling of Chinese junk then setting ridiculously high prices on parts to fix them ( assuming you could get the needed parts ) only to break again in a very short time, it soured most buyers into choosing their brands.
I know people who have had things like craftsman lawn mowers in the past that lasted fifteen or twenty years only to buy a new one that only lasts two to three years. The cost of buying parts to fix it is as much as a new one. I'm actually surprised they lasted as long as they did. I just refused to buy there junk.
Certain South American cultures have fish head soup in there cousins. I have had average versions that were actually not that bad, and I have had really good versions that are really good. It's kind of like eating soft shell crab sandwiches, absolutely delicious but do not open the bread and peek at the crab.

I hear a lot of the " right wing idiots " with there head in the sand complaining about Michael Moore and his documentaries. I personally think that he is a gifted cinematographer with a unique style. He has the ability to capture complicated and sometimes obscure notions and events and present them in an entertaining way. Too bad that most closed minded people do not see the perspective from the average citizen's point of view. He really is a very good mirror of the times we live in.
I also can understand how he hets the " leftwing looney " title from all the political zealots that inhabit the net these days. He usually shows the average citizens perspective and not that of the upper two per cent. He also seems to have an open mind about his subjects and a gift for making it slightly humorist. Just think, if he was a conservative idiot with his head in the sand, he would be Lienie Riefenstahl.
