Dear Cachachi, I'm not sure if your statement was directed at mine or just the blog in general, however, you just keep being as picky as you want. It is your life and only you are responsible for the quality of it.
Being in my seventies I'm sad to report that age is more than just a state of mind. As for " uselessness ", well that can sometimes go both ways.
I also liked the statement that we are divorced, picky, and overly critical of the quality of friends they want. I for one would not like to spend whatever time I have left with someone I did not like or even just disagree with. Life is short and when you get to the point that it reveals this then don"t spend what little you have left on grief and disappointment. You should go out laughing, not crying!
People that have some sort of mental problems have always been misunderstood. I do however commend you for taking the time to at least give him some small semblance of respect. You seem like a nice person.
If this blog is in reference to the one about Americans being so rude and unfriendly, I suggest he go to Paris and take a post-grad course in it ! . . . .

Ahhhhh! The sea and sailing . If it was so predictable and easy to handle , would it fill your soul the way it does ? Some things should be as they are, not to test us so much as to thrill us better ! Sailing is not for nor is it right for wimps .
If I had the input or the right to choose who would receive my good or working organs like most people I would probably make bad decisions based on emotion not logic . I think that in theses things it is best left to the professionals . They also may be poorly informed or have an emotional conviction, however they do seem to make the right decisions more often than not . I'm also going to be dead so I really don't know or care what happens to them !
I can't honestly say that I agree with the policies of Mike Pence, however he does give the impression of being a gentleman . Something sorely lacking in our current leader .

In response to Cheavy"s comment , Yes the only way to stop the Worldwide drug problem is to take the immense profit out of it .This will only be done by decriminalizing and eventually legalizing it . It will never be eliminated however because there is just too much money being made out of it .
The DEA also has a vested interest in keeping there billions of Government dollars flowing as well as all the less informed populace that keeps the system going . Total shame that the 18'th amendment fiasco is always overlooked .
Dear Lindsy, The over the top statement was in answer to a comment from a poster . The rest was in reference to whoever is in power and how they respond to the political backlash . I also recall ( not personally ) of a statement made by Harry S' Truman " If you can't stand the heat, get out of the kitchen " .
I can remember when the other party was in the Whitehouse and there was eight years of constant opposition and bickering to his presidency . It seems that the shoe is on the other foot now and it's true that " what goes around comes around " !
I'm truly surprised that by now most people still do not know that our previous president was a member of a Christian church and was not a Muslim . I'm not sure if his father was or not but the last time I checked Religion was not an inherited trait among humans . This is just biological science and not another alternate fact !
