This is a tough dilemna, mainly since I'm making assumptions on what they're doing together. You didn't specify what so I'm going to assume something bad. In that case, I would have to say something, but what depends on circumstances. There is not enough information provided here to fully analyze the situation.
So I'm going with saying something, but exactly what would depend on the way things were IRL.
Time is not an energy, but is relative to energy. Within eq: E=MC^2, C is a velocity. C, although constant because it is the velocity of light, is still expressed in meters/second.
As for time travel. No it is not possible. One can think of it at the quantum level as possible universe travel, where probabilities diverge based on choice and perception, but if one were to travel to another time/universe where diverging potentials could be influenced, you'd be in a different universe, as well as a different time. Thus you wouldn't have changed anything but your frame of reference. The original event would still exist in its own universe regardless of what you do.
