RE: HOW IS EVERYONE DOING THIS MORNING

I'll be fine. It's just a cold.

But in the meantime

*hack**wheeze*

Camomile...that's the ticket.

RE: HOW IS EVERYONE DOING THIS MORNING

I had coffee. It's actually making me feel sicker. So...

I'm done for the day.

Enjoy all. I'm switching to herbal tea now.

Time Is A Mirror

Thanks dano.

Party on!head banger

Time Is A Mirror

Time is a mirror
Of the travel within,
Lost are the ways,
As we wade through sin.
Time is a mirror
That shines in the dark,
A fading ember,
A dying spark.
Nightengale dreams
Of being a raven.
Raven dreams
Of being a boar.
Boar dreams
Of being a man.
What does man dream?
Time is a mirror,
Nothing more.
And dream of light
To scare away night.
But in the end,
It will do no good,
Time is a mirror.

RE: HOW IS EVERYONE DOING THIS MORNING

Morning folks.

RE: Does anyone beleive in ghosts or ever lived in a haunted house?....just wondering!!!!

It didnt' really scare me...it wasn't like the ghosts were dangerous, just screwed up...Have you ever seen a ghost that doesn't walk through walls, but just bounces off?

Damn rubber room inmates will never get the hang of ectoplasmic travel...

RE: Are there any men that like to take girls out for dinner anymore

True that...

It must be the Ulster portion of the Family tree...

I blame it on the Irish...!

RE: Does anyone beleive in ghosts or ever lived in a haunted house?....just wondering!!!!

I think the freakiest place I've ever experienced phenomena at is an old mental hospital that they converted into a call center...the 2am shift was to me like:

uh-uh, not doing it...

RE: Are there any men that like to take girls out for dinner anymore

But I am a Scot...So I'm as cheap as, well, a Scot.

It's genetic. I think I'm related to Scrooge MacDuck...

RE: Are there any men that like to take girls out for dinner anymore

No...I never do dutch...unless the lady insists.

Even then I handle the tip...

RE: Are there any men that like to take girls out for dinner anymore

My idea of a good first date is to see a show and have dinner.

The show could be anything, from a movie, to a walk around art galleries during the open house.

And dinner?

Well, I'd let the lady decide.

Unless its' Red Lobster...

RE: Organ donor or no?

I'd be an organ donor. I'm registered.

The only thing nobody would want is my brain.
It's a dirty, nasty, wicked thing my brain.

RE: Raise your hand if you have actually met someone online

Weird and scary, eh? Okay you got me.

<---This isn't really me. I'm four foot tall, with warts, and I live under a bridge, waiting for billy goats to eat.

NOT!

I might be weird and scary, but in a good way. Like, I dunno, Albert Einstein on a good hair day.

Can't speak for the rest of the blokes here at CS.

RE: What Song Describes Your Life?

Painted Smile-The Moody Blues

I can sing
I can dance
Just give me a chance
To do my turn for you
There's a change I'll slip
But with stiff upper lip
I'll sing a song for you
Laughter is free
But it's so hard to be a jester
All the time
And no one's believing
I'm the same when I'm bleeding
And I hurt all the time deep inside

I've shed a tear for the lying
While everyday trying to
Paint this smile for you
Backflips, cartwheelings,
Somersault feelings
What is there left to do
Laughter is free
But it's so hard for me,
A jester all the time
No one's believing
I'm the same when I'm bleeding
And I hurt all the time deep inside

Roll up, roll up
Enjoy the show
Pick me up, wind me up, put me down
You'll see me go
And this painted smile
May miss for a while
Then come back and steal your show

I sing, I dance
Give me a change to do my turn for you
With backflips, cartwheelings,
Somersault feelings
What's there left to do
Laughter is free
But it's so hard to be a jester
All the time
No one's believing
I'm the same when I'm bleeding
And I hurt all the time deep inside

Laughter is free
But it's so hard to be a jester
All the time
No one's believing
I'm the same when I'm bleeding
And I hurt all the time deep inside

Where's the beer, eh?

rolling on the floor laughing

J/k Mark. Have fun. Welcome to the nuthouse.

RE: Anybody here have a pet?

All I have currently is my brother's dog Ranger, which I inherited when he died.

I usually have cats, but Ranger's alright. He doesn't even realize he's a dog, and gets a bit upset if you call him one.

What was the last book you read?

Sure.

We all have to start somewhere.

"The fat brown dog jumped over the lazy black cow."

cheers

RE: Raise your hand if you have actually met someone online

I'm still learning Greta, and I've been online since there was an online.

Not that I was using the net to date when I first logged in.

I was in college. I worked in the campus library. It's the only time in my life that I got four propositions in one day.

Go figure. What happened?

confused dunno

What was the last book you read?

Farenheit 451 is one of my all time favorite books. Hence my curiosity about what people are reading (if anything).

Today's teenagers don't seem to relate to anything that doesn't come on a CD or DVD.

1984 is a great story. Who are we at war with again, Eastasia, or is it Eurasia?

RE: ADD LINE OR 2

It was a bloke driving a mustang!
A bit long in the fang, but still servicable...

Eternity In Your Eyes

Eternity in your eyes,
A sunrise,
Red and gold and violet,
Dawning in the corridors
Of my heart.

What is this feeling
That has me reeling
Floating on the ceiling,
Whenever I hear her voice?

Beauty is a muse,
Plucking the strings
Of my heart.
Traces fingers across my
Chest, smug in her
Ability to excite me.

The eyes have it, windows
To passion, crashing
Waves on the shore,
Grinding my resolve
Into the sand below.

She asks me,
Why cling to the sadness
That has ridden like madness
In the depths
Of your heart?

And I struggle to answer
Without the commonplace lie
That springs like foam
To my lips, like rabies
In the summer heat.

Joy is a stranger,
Fraught with danger,
And who am I to
Argue with the luck
Of the Irish?

She'll have none of this,
For it's just an excuse
To stay alone and sad
On the grey shores of
The Sea of the Forgotten.

Here is her bounty,
Like a Canadian mounty,
She chases my blues,
Like a hound on the
Trail of a crafty fox.

What was the last book you read?

I've heard alot about it.

Just haven't found a roundtuit yet. grin
