I would thank you but it's the 99cent stores I was talking about. They are similar to the dollar tree stores but carry a wider range of items and all are priced .9999 cents or less.
There was about 3 years where if it wasn't for a store like dollar tree (the 99cent store) I would have had to go without regular meals. During that time after my rent, water & electricity was paid I had between $250 & $350 leftover at the end of the month to feed 2 people pay auto insurance and put gas in the truck. And in California it's hard to find very many items at the grocery store that cost less then $3. So if that was they only place I could buy food I would have probably lost quite a bit of weight. The 99cent store I shopped at stocked grocery item's like produce and bakery items plus far more canned goods then dollar tree. I really wish there was a 99cent store near me is South Carolina.

When I was 10 I drove a Dodge van with a 3 on the tree a few times around a ranch I lived at one summer. I suppose that was legal. But when I was 12 I would sometimes drive my drunk neighbor around Phoenix in his Chevy Chevette which had a tendency to overheat and stop running until it cooled down. It did that one night and when I pulled over a cop pulled in behind us with his light flashing. I thought I was busted but the cop just asked what was wrong? I said the car overheated and he got back into his car and left. Illegal? Yup.
I have an aggravating but in the end comforting story. Just to let people know ahead of time, this story is long and is about God, Satan, miracles, doubt, prayer and being taught a lesson. It all starts with me letting the tailgate down on my truck and unloading a washing machine that I had repaired. Shortly after I did that I tried to close the tailgate on my truck. But it wouldn't latch. I thought no problem it must be the latch mechanism binding up inside the gate. So I took it apart and everything looked liked it was working perfect, but I shot a little oil on the moving parts to see if it would help. No joy. So I tried several more times to get it to latch, but again no joy. So I got my flashlight out of the truck so I could shine my light around the latching points while the gate was being held in the closed position, but as soon as I tried to use the light I dropped it and broke the bulb. So out of anger I threw the light into the bed of truck and said to my friend who was helping me, "I pray and I pray and I never seem to see God doing anything good in my life, but Satan I see doing bad all the time." My friend didn't say anything and we kept trying to figure out what was causing the problem. A little while later I said that it was going to take a miracle to fix it as I have not been able to see what the cause was. I was able to use his flashlight to see that the gate was not closing far enough to engage the portion of the latch that's mounted to the bed sides. But and this a big BUT, there was absolutely nothing that was keeping the gate from closing far enough, it just wouldn't. My friend also has the same make & model of truck and we compared them and there was no difference. Even looking at the body lines it appeared it was closing enough. I even adjusted all the adjustable parts of the latch but it made no difference. I took the gate off and put it back on and there just wasn't anything the could be seen by the naked eye that was keeping the gate from closing far enough. I could see why it wasn't latching, but I just couldn't see what was keeping it from closing far enough to latch. After being at this for an hour or so I had given up. I was holding the tailgate up in the closed position when suddenly it popped into my head "let go of the tailgate and let fall open". So I did, and then I closed it like I always did before and it latched perfectly. So I opened it and let it fall open a second time just for good measure, and again it closed and latched perfectly. So what I got out of that whole scenario was that even though it's easy to see satans handy work, God is also working in my life and at times he will remind of it.
It's not surprising that you keep touting Politifact and snopes type sites given where some of your income is derived. Anybody with half a brain knows that those sites are paid to spread dis-information about anything and anyone not a towing the libnut party line. They really should be called twistafact.com & sophist.com.
The best way to combat illegal immigration is to take away the incentives. Make it a crime to hire them. Remove any and all freebies. Stop giving them citizenship just because they were born here while their parents who are not citizens happen to be here. (That was never a law anyway) And start deporting all who are here illegally. No exceptions.
