I found it helpful to develop a taste for all kinds of fresh fruits and vegetables, avoiding canned foods but accepting a lot of frozen. Avoid all types of processed and junk food completely. I wont even eat ground beef unless I grind it. Unless you love the new food you're not going to stick to it, in my case.
I agree but a lot of that behavior you cite is based on species survival, territory necessary to survival, mating competitions are usually harmless rituals, I' ve fed feral dog packs before, even male lions killing cubs relates to species survival.
Maybe hard to get hard data on illegals . I have seen labor shortages though and nothing is worse than having to beg employees to come to work on time. Cheap, plentiful labor is like the fuel in an economic engine though.
the irony is the legal and illegal immigrants benefited the economy tremendously, providing a base for economic growth and low to nonexistent inflation. The future of a middle class in U.S. however is questionable at best.
Even as far back as the early eighties , the residential and commercial construction industry was flooded with illegal immigrants who worked for absurd wages and got paid in cash by a semi literate crew boss. All you needed to do was yell "immigration!" in a run down apartment building , restaurant, or worksite with hispanics on it to see what was actually going on!
The conservative plan since Reagan has been to talk tough against immigration and sabotage any serious enforcement efforts. The U.S. has benefited tremendously from dirt cheap labor in almost all low skill, dirty, dangerously jobs we require in the U.S.
A gullible lower middle class constituency, and the great increase in wealth of the 1% has been central to their success.
