I thought a tinker was what they called traveling people who made money in skilled metal work repairing in rural areas of Europe, going back hundreds of years.
One side of my family ate loads of meat and lived in excellent health into their 100's, the other side passed in their fifties and sixties. I love all kinds of food and would rather enjoy a short happy life than suffer a long one.
I think a lot of processed and altered food may be the worst. I avoid all possible additives and trans fats.

my question remains unanswered, in the southern USA the travelers are more like a mafia than a culture - a criminal gang, so is that the case in Ireland?
Maybe it would help to organize and publicize a community charity or travelers org. Based on community service or national service and disassociate from the negative activity?
Death penalty I support when guilt is beyond a shadow of doubt... but our legal system is so screwed up I fear we may execute as many innocent as guilty. Also, many infamous gang leaders are able to run their operations in the prison.
many im systems are vulnerable to hackers who use them to break your firewall and take over your computer. The nigerian scammers were very active with this. Never talk to strangers , dont stay on long unless you trust etc.
Next time an Irish traveler knocks on my door and wants to put on a new roof and fix my asphalt drive I'm gonna pay em in advance I am. Yup, I really am.

could be wrong but suspect the ones with missing screen names were booted, while those still present just deleted profile or whatever.
