There are any number of psychiatric and psychological evaluations, from assessing for dyslexia to sociopathy.

And depending upon the type of assessment questions they could be answered and interpreted either subjectively, objectively, or a mixture of the two.

I don't think Myers Briggs is used much, if at on this side of the pond. I think that sort of thing might be quite culture specific.

Chat I do not get the brain washing point but let me tell you that these children of mine are not easy to be brain washed nor ironed I have tried to make them to clean, to cook, to work.....for me for decades and they just do not follow!
My children are fine –I think- just a bit tipped because of their Fathers’s genes
(that is in jest before MD shoots me.
My child’s mental evaluation will be this week, then I will get to know some.
I have not idea which test or tests are going to be KB

I do not see a mental evaluation (ME) as a waste of money yet I would like to know how a ME is used to take a decision on hiring-selecting people for a specific activity. The problem is that my closest friends’ expertise is into other activities different of Psychology or psychiatry.

The question Jac is how much “weigh” a mental evaluation is considered in the whole equation. Is it 0.7 or 0.05 ? out of 1.
Accepted = Degrees + work experience + languages + ME + hobbies + age + etc... (gender is not important)
Does a ME give the mark to know if a student-worker is capable of adapting to new cultures (they are required to work in one or more companies abroad as training) as to adapt to daily life and being able to develop the process and programs that they need to.
Using the ME tool(s) adequately, what is the range of “usefulness” in comparison to real life results?
