Russia and China have always been great enemies of the US. People seem to have forgotten our confrontations with China in 80s and 90s as well as our current ones in the south China Sea. Putin made a fool of lil Bush and would love to destroy Reagan's greatest legacy.
We seem to have a few Russian trolls on here in my opinion (not who u noted above) and they slip up on rare occasion and do things like defend Russia taking Eastern Europe back as well as the Ukraine. Seems us small potatoes wouldnt be worth Russian trolling. Maybe theyre the really dumb employees.
1)Did it end badly for them ? Yes, but we couldve let China have them later. Remember what they did to Chinese? Should thousands and thousands of our soldiers been sacrificed to pamper the Japanese soldiers? 2)how come the tower dropped? Whatever you say noddy. 3) pentagon- it punched a hole because of the way the structure was built noddy. The roadstone was crushed limestone aggregate used across the state as a base for most all roads and highways. It is readily available in huge quantities from nearby quarries - 50 miles apprx. and state run road maintenance stations - a few miles away. I imagine it helped smother the super intense heat and held up under the incredible temp. It still took days, as I remember to bring down the heat. 4)WW2 money to wage war. Go read a history book outside Russia.
I believe China and Russia have always been very hostile towards the U.S. A large % of Russians want Putin to take back Eastern Europe and screw up the U.S. a.s.a.p. China issues are very complex but they hate us in the military as well and have their own Great Empire fantasies. Unless we have a magic weapon or our sanctions can cut off fuel and transit we face a deadly world imo.
Trump keeps saying "We will take care of it" but he never does. In fairness he did have this mess dumped on him but no President would of been able to get us in a conventional war with North Korea and the world wouldnt accept a nuclear strike.
You can stop by Washington D.C. if you like. You might like to meet the Trump if I can get a good time slot. But bring some pepper spray and hide it in your purse. He can be very inappropriate .
Im thinking of buying avocados and mangoes mail order. Quality is a real problem in stores. The cheapest mango strain (red and green) has one small grower that invariably produces manna, otherwise the strain sucks. Avocados are often 2$ each these days and very unreliable. Maybe I should look at other specialty stores.
Retailers often sell a decent Turkey 1.00 pound on Thanksgiving, at a loss to them. They figure on people buying all the odds and ends while shopping makes the money and brings in huge crowds. Maybe the pricey apples have huge markups and low turnovers but appeal to small groups. Past twenty years its been hard to find a strain that isnt excellent except for the pesticide concerns.
Last week groceries had apples 1.00 to 3.00 $ U.S a pound. Since the 1.00 ones were as good or better than the others I wondered how the pricey growers could make anything? Maybe the retailers paid the same and sold to deep pocket buyers who didnt care about price?
